Convenient for Airport BUT....
FredH186275on 25/09/2016 20:34Four of us, not young and fond of our comforts, stayed here for one night at the end of an otherwise splendid trip to Croatia and Montenegro. This hotel comes up a lot if you search for an hotel close to Dubrovnik airport and it is very convenient for the airport. It also has lovely views and a nice pool, it is clean, it is relatively inexpensive. That unfortunately is where the good news ends.
The bad points are:
1. It is on a steep site and cars cannot get to the hotel itself, so you need to be fit to move your luggage.
2. There are no lifts.
3. The rooms are small, the beds are hard.
4. The queues for meals are long slow and seemingly unending.
5. The food is a bit grim
6. Staff are friendly enough but a bit thin on the ground.
In the end it's your choice whether the location and cost outweigh the other factors, for myself I wish we had driven a bit further and paid a bit more.
Quite OLD hotel away from the city

This is actually not a regular hotel but a complete resort area. There are pools as shown in the pictures, beaches are grate too. The rest (which is not shown in the pictures) is average minus.
Some of the rooms are 1/2 mile away from the restaurant and the pools area. The rooms are at 3-story buildings with no elevator. Means, for breakfast we had to go down 3 floors, walk 1/2 mile and step up 3 floors. Not the ideal vacation.
The rooms are old. No Internet, almost no electrical outlets. Separated small beds. The buildings with most of the rooms (Villa Eva and Villa Felicia) are not shown in any of the pictures. Maintenance is minimal. Average - Low hotel.
Food (Breakfast and Dinner) was basic and nothing to do with the Croatian kitchen.

NihadKestendzicon 05/09/2016 11:17We planed to stay in the hotel for 4 nights and we fled after just 1 night. Here are just some of the reasons:
- Air Condition was leaking all night. They put a single hink under it and in the morning the hink was half full. It was almost impossible to fall to sleep because of the noise of the water falling in to that hink.
- Bathtub drain was plugged. It took several hours for water to disappear after every shower.
- We are talking about a huge complex and internet is working just on the few spots. Not even on every spot that is said to be working. Information in the rooms about WiFi passwords and networks doesn't match (old information).
- Staff doesn't make thinks better. Totally unmotivated. We arrived at 14:00 and asked for some restaurants nearby so that we could have lunch. The girl on the reception desk told my wife about two restaurants where we could eat. She didn't feel that she should inform her that one restaurant is opening at 17:00 and the second one at 19:00.
When i informed one guy at the reception that the WiFi password in the rooms is incorrect and that neither network or password are correct, he gave me new password - that was incorrect also.
Service level is absolute 0. The employees look like they are forced to work there, not a single service minded individual with enthusiasm.
- Bags with dirty linen were in the corridor during our entire stay (at least 15 hours), no body bothered to pick them up. ( I have pictures)
- Overcrowded pool with poor, poor food and drinks. I ordered a coffee with milk and i milk in my coffee was sour, clearly bad but they didn't bother to serve it that way.
The pool is shared with all other facilities in the complex, not only guests in hotel Orphee.
- Value for money: 0

are by stairs.There are not ramps. There is not Wi-Fi in the rooms.Layers of the beds
are very very used.General it needs renovation.There is a mini market next to reception.The staff in the reception was not serviceable.

Anita768on 22/08/2016 23:07The hotel is in a quiet location but the surroundings and views are lovely. The rooms are good value for money and we enjoyed our stay there. The staff were friendly and very helpful and we had a relaxing few days during our time there.
