Excellent stay
Terryodonnellon 29/03/2017 11:06We stayed on Monday 27 March for one night and had dinner and breakfast. The hotel is fantastic value. Lovely smart modern bedroom. Restaurant very nice. Food brilliant. We liked the staff who were extremely friendly. Thanks for lovely break!
Wonderfull stay with dog at Palatino
Wimenaon 10/02/2017 17:18We were on a Family break at Palatino with our dog. Really dog friendly. Clean and big room. comfortable bed and good breakfast, lots of choices.
We had an nice thai dinner. Money well spent. The manager providided us with lots of information on walking trails in the area. Really nice for hiking/walking ...the lake is just minutes away so the hotel in excellent located.
Fabulous weekend at the Hotel Palatino
Beastcaton 01/12/2015 13:40We had a very comfortable stay at the Hotel. The interior decor is stylish, beds are comfy, rooms are clean and breakfasts are perfect. In addition, the hotel has a great Thai restaurant which offers delicious and authentic Thai cuisine. Room number 6 has great views of the lake and a little sitting room which is most convenient. The hosts are gracious and charming and we will definitely stay at the Hotel Palatino in the future.
Perfect weekend

Nice traditional German breakfast, but somehow it was very tasty. I liked hotel interior very much. I think this is very good place for couples.
A Word of Caution
William Mon 01/08/2014 10:12We had booked his hotel over the internet and, on a Tuesday , after a long drive, I was thirsty and desperate for a beer and we were looking forward to a Thai meal in the highly rated and reviewed restaurant.
I was shown to a very reasonable room and when I asked about getting a drink and booking a table for dinner,to my shock, was told that on a Tuesday, the bar and the restaurant were both closed, as it is the staff's day off!!
We were told that there was no service available and we would have to walk ito the vllage to get food and drink.
I discussed this with my wife and daughter and booked into a hotel that was "open".
I went back to The Palatino hotel and politely explained that we did not want to have to walk for a meal and drinks and was told in no uncetain terms that although I had only booked 2 days before that I would have to pay in full for the room. I explained that I thought I had booked into a hotel that would offer a full service but was told that all Hotels in Germany shut one day a week. Having given my credit card details to secure the booking I felt vulnerable and felt I had no option but to pay something and having no other denomination, handed over a 50 Euro note which was gruffly accepted.
So, my word of caution is, if you want food and drink, don't book in on a TUESDAY!!
