Clean and Well Priced

Victoria Don 22/08/2017 20:12

My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights and found our stay very pleasant. The room (a double) was clean and big enough for both of us. The shower facilities we also found to be clean and functional. It was a direct line to Alexanderplatz making travel into central Berlin easy.

Cheap and clean

We stayed for two nights with no problems. It is about 20 minutes from Alexanderplatz on walk but you can also take a tramway in front of it. The rooms was clean and correct and the showers as well.
After 23:00 you have to go in using your key, the rest of the day the hostel is open.

Just don't

This hostal is not badly situated it's close to the tramline with a direct connection to Alexanderplatz. That's the good point..Unfortunately the bad points just go on and on.
I understand it's budget accommodation but I have stayed in budget accommodation in other European capital cities.

First they have a stupid check in policy where office is only open 2 until 6 in afternoon. So if your flight arrives in the evening you won't be sleeping here.

The place has no lift and steep staircases.

It's dirty. The carpets are stained with God knows what! There are cigarette burns in the vinyl on the stairs even though there is a no smoking policy

The beds are hard very thin mattress on a wooden base

You can do better for the money and I have found better for the same or less money in this city on previous visits.

Okay..inexpensive

I stayed here with friends this month cant say I was overwhelmed with excitement on arrival but it was okay it did what it needed to. I will say the rooms are very basic and boring, its pretty much more a hostel then a hotel. The shared showers was poor the temp needs looking into. There's no real customer service or intent to create any relations with people staying in their hotel which was a bit off. But if you are looking for somewhere to lay your head for a short trip and are not fussed then it works

Bad service

Ofer Mon 28/05/2017 07:13

We came to Intervarko as a group the service is not good, the rooms are to small for the amount of bad inside, in the last day we had very bad check-out experience, we didn't get the information for the time to leave the room, after we left the in the morning to our meetings they start to shout in Dutch on one person that still was in the hotel, and then they kicked us out of the place and throw our bags outside,
