Military hotel

Very disappointing hotel, bath is dirty, toilet seat was also dirty to be precise it was cleaned with dirty rag. When you come to hall like you´re in military building (echo all over). When you open the door of you˙re room creak is all over the place. You can hear everyone in hall and near rooms. Breakfast average.

Affordable and Good Choice

I booked their new apartment suite for ten days primarily because it was close to a hospital where my father was staying. The room was brand new and luxurious and most importantly, clean. We had to cancel the rest of our stay there after three days due to some unfortunate circumstances and the people in the hotel were more than understanding and helpful and flexible. Really appreciated that.

Visit to Budapest

High School field trip from the USA brought us here. We had 41 people stay.

I found the rooms on the small side, but since we left at 7 am every morning and didn't return until 9 pm, it was more than adequate.

Beds were comfortable, and I was surprised that with even the amount of tourists it was fairly quiet.

Bathroom was on the small side, but there was enough room for a big guy like me to do what I needed to with no effort.

Housekeeping was excellent. Every time we returned from our daily visits the beds were made, towels replaced, garbage emptied, etc.

Guys at the front counter were nice to talk to. Was able to get my Coca Cola every night.

For breakfast I had some bread, butter, with a slice of cheese and sometimes even with jam on it. It's not a gourmet breakfast, but it was enough to get us moving in the morning.

Really close to the subway and for four nights we took the subway into town.

I really would like to give 3 and half stars.

I think that this hotel does not deserve 3★, compared to other hotels in the same price range. Rooms are small, lack of fridge, bathroom is clean but quite old. There isn't enough place for lagguage and wardrobe for 2 persons. Breakfast was ok, there was good choice of meals. Metro station, lidl, burger king and spar are near this hotel, not more than 5 min walking.

We had looked at a few hostels, but we were concerned that since we didn't know when we would arrive, we wouldn't be able to pre-arrange for someone to let us in. Be sure to look out for that with rented apartments and the like!
The hotel is a short walk from a Metro stop so it wasn't a big deal to us that it wasn't in a central area.
Pest Inn has 24/7 desk service. Both clerks I worked with were friendly and helpful. Since it's a large hotel with generally only one person on staff, we were fortunate to have only 2 people in front of us when we were ready to check in. There were two big groups there, and I could only imagine the nightmare of arriving right after their charter bus!
The room was simple, spacious and clean. The beds were supposed to be separate but were right next to each other. It was also nice to have a ceiling fan in the room.
