Phool mahal palace as the name suggests is located adjoining a lake. great escape from the maddening city crowed. Great place for relaxing. Nice simple Interiors, with simple food serving. Smiling staff. great place for winter holidays.

We visited pool mahal a few years ago and now the lake was full of water and surprise also a few hundred pelicans .We had a lovely room with lakevieuw.A few guests, so very quiet but a nice place to relax,visit the casle on top and the lovely village with the many artists.One advise make the dining room more cosy

I stayed here with my daughter quite a few years ago and we really enjoyed the hospitality. I had booked because I also wanted to see the waterlily lake but sadly it was no more ..... maybe due to more rain it has been restored. I remember walking over the lake area to a temple. We loved the little town and the fort. We had a bedroom with a swing and a very long terrace. We had a driver and had come from Jaipur on our way to Jodpur. It was a good whim of mine!!

We visited the palace for a couple of hours as a day trip. Cant recommend much on the service as we did not spend the night there.

The staff was helpful and the property is quite gorgeous. From all the top 3 hotels in Ki5hangarh, this is definitely the one if your looking for a combination of luxury and heritage.

Worth a day visit if your passing or in the vicinity.

Good experience, some low points though...

We stayed at this hotel for a night last week. Overall it was a good experience with some low points.
Pros:
- Look and feel of a heritage hotel, transports you back into the times gone by
- Spacious room with a sitting area and very spacious bathroom
- Lake view (its right on the lake)
- Fort was quite nice and we got a private tour by the Manager himself
- Staff is very friendly and hospitable
- Overall a very good place to sit and relax

Cons:
- Food was not good. Would suggest to skip and have it outside
- Basic amenities like Tea/Coffee maker
- No Breakfast. Makes sense to include it, considering the room tariff is not low
- Needs renovation and better upkeep at places, though it adds to the old world charm I guess
