braganzatravelon 30/08/2017 08:35I have been coming last 30 years to this Hotel. This is good Hotel and I can say an excellent hotel in Vailankanni. I don't like any other hotels in velankanni except Picnic hotel. Every time our full family staying here only. Very very best hotel. Staffs are very good. All rooms are good. Thanks to Mr.Felix and Mr.Vitus for the excellent co operation every time. Overall fantastic stay. Thank you all

Good rooms, good cleaning overall best hotel. We really enjoyed the flag hoisting ceremony in Mary Madha Basilica. Thank you
Less than average stay...
SSS1980on 28/08/2017 16:28From Kumbakonam, we went to Velankanni for a 1 day trip which was not planned in advance. All the hotels were full due to year end & we could get 2 rooms in this Hotel only. Got our rooms in the 2nd floor of the old wing. The rooms were less than average. I heard their indv cottages are good, which are in the same campus but were running full. Strictly a big NO if it is in the old wing.

After gone through the reviews I av booked the rooms
Very old property not maintain properly rooms are stinky and bad smell is coming after complaint they sprayed some room spray
They still av very old coat
Rooms are not maintain properly and cleanly ,curtains are found very dirt and old
Not at all value for money

mathew_chemon 28/07/2017 22:07It was a splendid stay. Located near to church only walkable distance. It is a decent budget hotel. We took 4 rooms in which 2nd floor rooms were not as good as when compared to 1st floor. And 2nd floor rooms ceiling is lower and to be careful while lifting your hands up when ceiling fan is turned on. Otherwise hospitality and rooms were good.
