Have stayed at this hotel 3 or 4 times over the past 3 years. Simply stated... it is very average, don't expect much. Room size is adequate. Beds have heavy comforter-type blankets with no top sheet (in 90 F weather?). There are no face cloths provided, nor can they be found if you request such. There are coffee cups/spoons/stir sticks in the rooms, but no instant coffee is provided. So what are the cups for? Make sure to bring your own soap/shampoo/conditioner as there is none provided. There is adequate hot water and water pressure (even on 4th floor). The breakfast is acceptable (is Filipino food) but the dining area is quite hot and uncomfortable. Overall, the property is beginning to show the wear & tear of a hotel, and needs a real clean/paint job, especially in the lobby and b'fast area. Don't count on the bar in the hotel as it is not what you expect; either go out or bring in your own. There is free wifi, but quite slow at times depending on guest usage. Overall, as stated above, it is very average hotel close to the piers, Robinsons, and SM Mall. There are just as good or better hotels on Maxilom and are where I'll likely stay the next time I'm in town.

Great hotel, Friendly Staff, unusable TV's

It's a great hotel, perfect location for shopping in Cebu being near Robinsons Galeria, SM Mall and Ayala. The staff are very professional and helpful, the rooms are basic but fine for a short stay. But the TV's in the rooms are unusable, many channels don't work, plus the wifi signal can be very weak in some rooms.

Family Staycation

Stayed at this hotel for an overnight staycation. The place is near the port area and also shopping malls like Robinsons Galleria Cebu and SM City Cebu. Its a midrange hotel. They offer breakfast buffet and rooms is quite okay for an overnight stay.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay and the overall service is good.

The Hotel's location is so convenient for me. If you want mall, it's a walking distance. If you want to go to the airport by riding a cheap bus 🚌, you can go to SM Cebu and ride My Bus. The room was ok , just enough space , and the bed was soft . The only thing was, their service water 💦 was with only one Small bottle. But overall the room was ok 👌🏻. The free buffet breakfast was really really 👌🏻 ok. There's a lot of choices. Wow so terrific , thumbs up 👍🏿 to Hotel Pier Cuatro. At least I'm full before going to somewhere else. Very 😊 good .

Not quite what I expected

The room is not up to par considering the price we paid. The airconditioning is not very cool, the TV is old and very small and placed above the "cabinet" which is difficult to watch and it's not really a "cabinet" but rather an odd sort of shelves. The toilet is too hot since the room is near a kind of vent. And to top it all, you can hear the voices/tv of the next room.

The only positive of this hotel is it is very near a mall (Robinsons Galleria) and a 7-11. I would not consider booking here again.
