Clean Budget Hotel

We booked the place for half a day as we wanted to keep our luggage, and get freshened up before leaving. It was clean. Best was that they have separate toilet and bathroom. It is really good for a budget accommodation and close to the rock beach and white town. Service was quick. They have a cupboard, Ac and Non ac rooms. Non ac room has coolers which is thoughtful. It's right in the middle of Heritage town, so easy walking to all the Sunday Bazaar and 4 kms to the Pondicherry Bus stop. Just know that ventilation is not good as it doesn't have a view or a balcony. Good if you just want to bunk, take shower and then head out to explore.

Affordable stay

Pleasant inn is situated in the centre of the city . Rooms are very spacious and clean .Rented scooty shops r available very near to pleasant inn with just 200 RS . Reception people can also arrange but that would be little costly .There are lot places nearby to shop . Suruguru restaurant is best place to have lunch and dinner with soothing ambience which is just 5 mins walk from pleasant inn. Staff was very friendly in guiding for places to visit . Don't miss to visit auroville beach and auroville globe both are at distance of 6 km from each other .Paradise Beach should b visited in morning to avoid rush and heat. It's advisible to carry a sunscreen and umbrella always .Try booking rooms online for a affordable trip . Over all it's was pleasant expressed to stay in pleasant inn.

Good location, clean room, Bad hospitality!

The rooms are clean and well Kept. The best advantage of this hotel is the location. 1 km from railway station and the pricing. Its placed at the center of city in a market. Very near to rock beach and bike hiring places.

Just a warning, the hotel staff can be rude and unhelpful.

Everything is okay about the rooms. But there is no ventilation at all and its compact.

We arrived at around 10pm for our 3 night stay, we were told "get out, no rooms" before we even had a chance to say anything. I had a booking through an online website, I showed the man my booking and he was extremely rude to us for the duration of our stay. The other front desk person was much nicer and helpful.

Room: nice bed, large room, pretty clean, hot water. No wifi.
Location: About a 15 minute walk to the main pondicherry tourist area but only around the corner from a few good cafes.
Service: the (larger) man who served us was terrible and extremely rude, sat on his phone all day/night.

Overall, not bad but you could do much better for the price range in Pondi

An amazing stay at pleasant inn

This is an amazing hotel for our stay in pondy. This is on mission street and easily accessible from every place. The service and the quality is really good. The rooms are well maintained. Hotel staff is really kind.
