Good Value and Breathtaking Views
Christine Ton 07/10/2016 21:52We chose this hotel because it was reasonably priced and within reasonable driving distance to Amalfi and Positano (which were our desired destinations). Upon arrival, we received a complimentary room upgrade. Our upgraded room was very spacious and clean with a balcony overlooking the ocean....all for 61 Euros/nt., including breakfast! Breakfast was good and offered a variety of options. We had dinner in the restaurant one night, and even my Italian chef husband was impressed with the food.
One big turnoff for me was that during dinner the restaurant manager, who was onsite, became upset with one of the members of the waitstaff and proceeded to scream at him in front of and within earshot of the guests. I was embarrassed for the waiter. The manager then approached our table to explain why he was so upset, which I thought was very unprofessional.

Go elsewhere lots of good restaurants within walking distance with better prices and much better service.

Emrah Oon 14/08/2016 10:15I m here in Salerno again. This time I try this hotel. In my opinion it's maximum three stars hotel, they have a good view and clean rooms not more. Room is very noisy. Breakfast is not ok. Beach is horrible. That's all what can I say about this one. I don't suggest
What a disappointment
Diana Son 06/07/2016 15:05Was there for a wedding which took place on a Sunday. Asked the Ukrainian girl at the reception if she knew a hairdresser that was open on Sunday. She said that her friend was a hairdresser and that he could come to the room and do my hair before the wedding. This all seemed very helpful and well-organized. The next day, the so called hairdresser spent 2,5 hrs working on my hair and made a mess out of it! And to make things worse he charged EUR 35,- for it. I don't think he was a real hairdresser.

Cannot say enough positive things about the staff and overall experience, especially the desk manager (female) whose name I do not recall. They were gracious and efficient in making all of the arrangements that we wanted, i.e., a driver and boat arrangements to Amalfi and Positano. We had booked at another hotel at which we were not pleased. We went to a wine bar to discuss, and the desk manager from Polo Nautica overheard us talking and offered her assistance. Probably the biggest positive break of our three-week trip to Italy. Our room had a waterfront balcony and view about 25 feet off of the water. Highly recommend.
