Lovely hotel!

My friend and I have just spent 4 nights here. It is a lovely hotel very contemporary in a perfect location for all the shopping and sightseeing and eating out! We were upgraded to a deluxe room which was fantastic- though at the back of the hotel so we did get the noise at night time from the air conditioning units and the back of the hotel to the rear of ours. The bar area serves as the breakfast room in the morning and does get quite busy but there is ample choice. The bar area is also a sushi bar at night though we didn't try it out. One thing we would have liked is somewhere comfortable to relax with a drink after a hard days sightseeing -(though there was decking outside with seating but it got a little chilly).
Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Great Short Break !

Just back from a 4 night break at this hotel, absolutely great, thoroughly enjoyed. The Hotel is in a quiet street just of one of the main squares, which is now all getting set up with the Xmas Markets. Don't be put off by the outside street, renovations going on opposite, but we never heard a thing, and felt very safe.
There is lots to see and do, plenty within easy walking distance, trams, busses, metro all very close.
Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. will return.
One of the best hotel stays

After having stayed in three different 5-star hotels during my trip to Portugal, I have not found any hotel as exceptional as Portugal Boutique Hotel. With an excellent location, most major tourist attractions are an easy walk from here. There are plenty of options to eat and shop nearby. There is a supermarket close by if you want to pick up some snacks or a bottle of wine on your way out/in of the hotel. I had couple of beers at the hotel bar twice and I was always met with friendly hosts. The hotel felt like a second home.
The service levels of the hotel are par excellence. The hotel left complimentary chocolate pastries in the room on the day of the checkin - what a 'sweet' gesture. A special shout out to Ana at the reception desk who was extremely kind, knowledgeable and proactive. It's people like her who make all the difference between a good and a great experience. Everyone I interacted with at the hotel was very friendly and always willing to share information about their city, tips on where to eat and where to shop, etc - it seemed they were genuinely proud of their city and wanted their guests to experience the best the city has to offer - whether inside or outside the hotel.
I know I am not staying anywhere else whenever I am in Lisbon next. The hotel has my highest recommendation and I will keep coming back.
Great hotel, location???

This hotel is mixed on the location. It is centric, but the street where it is located does not seem to safe. When we arrived, the taxi left us half way on the corner street and we had to walk with our luggage until the bell boy (very nice people and service) saw us. My real concern recommending this hotel, is the safety issue.... it is one street off to where we would have liked. IT is downtown and close to many touristy areas... beware, if you want to go walking to Bairro Alto or Chiado, there are LOTS of "hills" to walk to... also the streets are uneven, so it makes it that much more difficult to walk. So, if you are fine walking up streets to get to "nicer" areas, then this hotel is fine.
Now with the hotel, front desk very nice and accommodating... our room was not ready until 3 and they kept our luggage until then... we decided to take a walk waiting .... once we coud get our room, we had a nice room, very modern and purple details across... the bed was very comfortable as well as the duvet... pillows were also on the good side. There were several places where to charge your electronics, so that was a plus. The tv is in a mirror like setting which was also cool...
as for the bathroom, we had a jacuzzi which we did not use and a separate shower which was quite good... amenities were excellent. Towels were great as well.... so all in all for the hotel and room, great, location was our main concern.
Breakfast, very good period. Good service, good quality.
Too bad this hotel was not located one or two blocks west.....
Enjoy
The perfect place to stay
