What People are saying

Remodel can't come soon enough

NYaiflsphnon 20/05/2017 16:23

All the Bad reviews are true. I know they are getting remodeled, but They shouldn't make anyone stay in the smelly/dirty old rooms until the remodel is complete. The people were okay, but there was no acknowledgement that I was an Expedia Gold member, even though they are an Expedia VIP hotel.

Girls trip

Great price location not too far from downtown. We were going to a concert and someone left ear plugs in the room! That was great. Rooms were clean and bed was comfy. My friend forgot her toothbrush and they brought her one and tooth paste up to the room

Needs Work

This Hotel is in the middle of no where. Needs a lot of upgrades. The bathroom was ok, but the rest of the room looked and smelled old. As if it was cleaned years ago and no one has ever been back in the room since then.

A whole lotta kitch can't make up for all the deficiencies

When we touched down in Nashvilles airport we phoned the hotline for a 24 hr free shuttle and within 15 min, Steve picked us up and jovially took us to the hotel 10 min away.
He was friendly and genuine and had lots of anecdotes to share to two excited Torontonian girls excited for the days ahead.
We got to the lobby which was small and sort of motel-like but thought the cool neon and strange lit bra-stand (yup, that's what I said) was a very interesting addition to a "vibe" that we obviously were lacking.
We got our key cards and made it to the elevators. When they opened, we wished perhaps we had taken the stairs. It is basically in disrepair (as in stripped to the studs) because they are in renovation but not a great first impression. Luckily Steve was our first foray into the hotel and he was good.
The room was meh and again, I felt maybe I was on the set of a Twin Peaks episode. Not the Ritz but hey, I suppose you get what you pay for.
The pluses: it was clean, it had working electricity and the water pressure was like none other I have ever tried (CRAZY GOOD AND STRONG).
But the little "details" like, I don't know, a FAN in the bathroom would be a nice touch. I'm just sayin'.

Overall, it is a retro-ish hotel, which promises of a rebirth but as of now, is badly in need of a face lift.

If you want a fairly priced hotel that takes no longer than 15 min to get into town (Nashville is not a big city) and super nice people who have lots of stories to share, this hotel is worthwhile. But if you have any interest in a little lap of luxury or Southern charm even, not for you.

But here's a fun fact: according to my buddy Steve, they recently shot an episode of upcoming "Nashville" in the hotel bar so in a few weeks, once it airs, this nugget of hidden lodging will skyrocket tenfold. It's slated to air in July, so perhaps book now!

Not worth the money

We stayed here for one night to be close to the airport, by the price I paid and the pictures I was expecting a hotel comparable to Hilton or IHG chains. Our room did look like the pics, however what you can't see in the pics is that it's rough around the edges, (old and musky). They have updated, but it's similar to a Quality Inn or LaQuinta to me. I don't stay anywhere less than that so that's all I know to compare to. Service was friendly and helpful. Seems like it may be a local hangout downstairs below the lobby as they have a bar that's open late, not sure how I feel about that on a family trip.
