So at the 12 pm , in the middle of the night, we park the car in the front of the hotel and i see a man looking for somebody; that somebody was us. He and his colegue stayed 2 hour after the program just to wait for us. We has very nice to us, very friendly!
The room was very clean, modern, we slept like a baby in that comy bed.
COZY, COMFORTABLE STAY AT THE JARDIN

While the hotel is not right in the centre of Bern, it was easy enough to find from the railway station, which involved a pleasant tram ride for about 10 minutes or so followed by a short walk of another 5-10 minutes from the tram stop. Swiss public transport is universally excellent so the experience was thoroughly pleasant.
The family that run the hotel are very friendly, helpful and brimming with goodwill. We felt genuinely welcome and they were only too pleased to engage in conversation and give helpful sightseeing tips when they were free to do so.
The room was very clean and comfortable in every respect. The breakfast, served downstairs in one of the dining rooms, was very good indeed; the bread (which they get fresh every day) was excellent, and this was indeed one instance where we 'could have lived by bread alone'! They also had plenty of nice cold cuts, cheese, and pretty much anything else one would have wanted for an abundant breakfast.
All of these fine attributes represented good value for money and would certainly suffice to entice us into another stay there when we are next in Bern.
Hotel Jardin
Yen Mon 03/06/2017 21:44Very nice hotel and about 25 minutes walking to the city and about 10 minutes by tram, a short bock to Coop grocery store. Hotel has a restaurant on the ground floor, we didn't have a chance to try.
Check-in and check-out was fast, we got a couple passes to use public transportation which is just right behind the hotel, parking is free, the hotel staffs are very nice, very friendly. The only problem we had was a slight odor, we think someone must have smoked in the room and it is non-smoking hotel.
Good location if you go by car
Esperanza Pon 25/05/2017 17:57We were driving back home and stopped here for one night. There are parking places available and the tram stop to go to the city center is close by. The city center is not far (no more than ten minutes by tram) and you have free riding with the hotel reservation.
You don't have to go into the middle of the town traffic to go to the hotel and it is also very easy to get back to the motorway when you leave.
The place was quiet, the room a little bit bigger than average and very clean.
People at the check in were nice and helpful. You have to lift your luggage a flight of stairs up but they offer help should you need it.
In short, we found the hotel comfortable and the situation very convenient.
