Very authentic and traditional style
Mangakuraon 03/05/2017 02:29Here for two nights. Staff were pleasant but reserved, decor is a little dated and tired.
Rooms are functional but again dated.
At breakfast there is what I think is a not well thought out situation were the food is in a seperate room to where you eat. Having to walk via reception back and forth with food.
Rooms were clean but not restocked with soap etc. a sign of penny pinching in my eyes.
On the positive the location is amidst beautiful countryside and was located close to where I needed to be.
On that basis I would still use this location again.
Peaceful after a busy day
Mary Con 01/09/2016 15:20we 3 work colleagues stayed at this hotel due to its location to the business we were working with. It is situated in a very peaceful location on the edge of Zeedam village. The entrance has some lovely water features. It does appear to be a little dated and our rooms were definitely on the older side of things, but this in no way took away from our enjoyment during our stay. At the end of a long day, the peace and quiet, friendly, helpful staff were very welcome. It was unseasonally hot during our stay but there were fans already in our rooms. Bathroom was, again, rather old fashioned in decor, but hey, the water was hot and the shower power was lovely and strong, so no complaints. Breakfast was particularly European. Plenty of bread options, meats and cheese. Some cereals, yogurt. Hard boiled eggs and a flat gridle to do bacon if you wish. Lots of fruit available too.
we had dinner on our first night and it was lovely. Plenty of food and all well cooked and prepared. We were hungry after a 05:00 am start and so it was lovely to step away from the table full. We had one vegetarian in our group, and nothing was too much bother for his meal.
If I have to be back in the area I will stay here.
Peacefull quiet place
Serkan Yon 19/04/2016 10:54A Relaxing peaceful accomodation. Great personnel charming and helpfull. Food is a little bit expensive but trust me you won't be able to finish your meal. Their porsions are big enough to feed anybody. Rooms are warm and usefull.
"Old" Hotel but clean, good and very friendly, sincere, staff
MrCanadaon 28/06/2015 10:09Just a short business stay due to a event. It's a old hotel with a bit old style for a man of this era. However, well maintained, clean, everything is there what a room need. And the staff is very friendly in a sincere way. Loved that!
Breakfast is very good with lots to choose from.
The surroung is beautifull, so for people who wants to hike or bike, perfect location.

Staff is very friendly. Food was very good, also breakfast.
They have a very nice fresh bread, you can have eggs the way you like it.
Everything is fresh.
