What People are saying
Not Bad
Chris Lon 08/09/2015 05:23This was my 2nd trip to Matsusaka. This was the first time staying at the Route Inn. This was definitely an upgrade compared to my first stay at a different hotel. Room was ok. Japanese hotels are really not made for a 6'3" person, but I was comfortable. Daily breakfast was good also.
Dependable and useful
bariloche48on 20/05/2013 10:36I think I know enough about this chain almost to be able to say "See my standard review".
Route-Inns are almost identical to one another. They are almost always built on greenfields sites to a standard design. Consequently, they are usually a little way from the centre of town and the railway station, but within a cheap taxi ride or reasonable walk. They have free coffee in the lobby from 6pm to 10 am. Breakfast is usually included and it's a good breakfast. The staff are excellent and well-trained. There is a good-sized ofuro with a coin laundry in the outer area of the ofuro. This makes them the perfect place to go after a week's travelling. You change into the hotel-provided nightwear, take all your washing, including your clothes for that day, go to the ofuro, put your washing in the washing machine and go to the ofuro. Stay there while your washing washes, then come out, put it in the dryer and return to your room while it dries. There is good wifi and the beds are comfortable and the bathroom good. I've never been disappointed that I have my value for money. Matsusaka fits into this exactly. There are even some good restaurants locally.
Free wifi needed please
Cindy-KCon 02/08/2012 17:15This is a business hotel that offers clean rooms at a good price.
The hotels offers wifi, albeit at a price. Its not complimentary. Having said that, the LAN service in room works perfectly.
If you happen to be in the hotel at 3pm, try the complimentary coffee.
