It was one day stay. Clean rooms. Food was good and tasty. Near to nishant gardens and also shalimar gardens. Room heater provided. Wifi is available. Room service is good. Hot water also available round the clock. Good hotel.

A very good return for your money

The Hotel is located in a quiet spot near a park and the famous Dal Lake, in Srinagar. The room was spacious; the Hotel has a restaurant and a lovely garden.
The staff is friendly and has been helpful all along my stay there -5 days, providing many useful tips on what to see and how to go about in Srinagar.
The first night, the arrangement included dinner. The food was not varied; I was told that this was not yet the tourist season. But, it was good; best butter chicken in years.
Alas, for some reason that I do not know, the room was not cleaned every day. Perhaps this has something to do with the fact that I was not supposed to stay more than 2 days but kept changing my mind in view of the general quality of the place and the very good ratio value for money.

Excellent Hotel, Great Staff, Yum Food

I wasn't sure about this hotel on the day 1 however they changed this to excellent in my 3 days stay with them, room with a good view, instant action from staff, yum hot food and great service made my day. Special mention for Abid who was serving us, he truly is an asset for their hotel.

good But need small improvement.

The hotel is very nice.. rooms are very cozy neat and clean food is delicious.. staff is cooperative very nice natural mountain view from balcony.. the only change that need to be done is hot water supply which come only in morning time. If hot water supply 24 hours than this hotel is awesome...which is very minor thing for the hotel but can be solved to give more comfort to the guests. Thanks i would love to stay again if hot water supply is 24 hours.

Good Budget Option

I had to stay one night in Srinagar and I opted for Royal Khazir as it was near the lake and the garden ( Nishat Bagh). The hotel could be better if only they would make some little improvements but for the price you pay I guess it is OK. I paid 900 rupees for the night which included breakfast.

The room I got was on the ground floor and was neat and spacious with a decent bathroom. The best part is that you can walk down from the hotel to Nishat Bagh and Dal Lake.

Breakfast was good and well prepared and the guy who served me did it with passion. The front office staff is good and you check in quickly and they also tell you where all to go

If you are not looking for a five star place but a decent clean place good for families go for Royal Khazir...There are a couple of more eating places near the hotel
