Nice Getaway from the Busy part of Kokusai Dori
Laurie Non 14/01/2017 10:09We stayed at the hotel for the Uchinanchu Taikai, its a quick walk to the Heiwa Dori and one of the few Starbucks in Naha. It was a nice getaway from the bustling street. The room is fairly big, much larger than some of the hotels at the opposite end of Kokusai Dori where other group members were staying. The breakfast buffet always had a a good selection that was always replenished, especially the breads they baked in house. The breakfast room was always spacious and never overcrowded considering the number of people staying there. There was a good mix of Okinawa, western and Japanese foods. I love the fresh ground coffee single serve machine they had. The laundry facility and a lot of machines, only once did I have to wait but not for very long. They have a convince store in the lobby but there is also a Family Mart across the street directly in front of the hotel and across the street on the side of the hotel. There is also a SAN A grocery store at the end of the street, turn left as you leave the main exit. We got in late but a block away, there is a small 24 eatery that was cheap and good. The overnight parking was cheap, $10 per day and $20 for 2+ days. Although I was on a tour, I also borrowed my cousin's car. They have either outdoor or basement parking. I would usually park in the outdoor lot which you have to turn in your key to the attendant, in the morning, the car would be moved because of the tour buses that would park in the lot. If you park in the basement, you get to keep your keys. I would definitely stay here again.
Very good location
Ramli Don 21/12/2016 04:04Room is okay and quite big enough but look old and the toilet also clean .some of the staffs on the front desk and receptionist can communicate and speak a little bit english.
location is quite good very near a couple of blocks from Monorail Makishi station and
not far from the main shopping street : Kokusai Dori/International street.
In front of the hotel is many taxi parking there waiting for guests who wanna talk a taxi.
Well, overall the hotel is quite good for people wanna getting around the city centre.
Very dated
cheriko112on 12/12/2016 14:19The whole place shouts out the need for a revamp. Very dated deco. We had a triple sharing room. Room is old, especially the bathroom. Hardened water stains on taps, old mirrors with brown patches.
In room slippers are not the usual white disposable ones, instead u get brown, pvc, uncle-lookalike slippers...faint...
No safe deposit is provided in the room. Bad. I have to carry my family's passports everywhere i go.
Breakfast is ok. Spread isnt a lot but decent.
The good thing about this hotel is the location as it is along the shopping street. Matsumoto kiyoshi is just beside it.
Parking is charged at 1000¥ per day. Discount for us as we stayed for 3 nights. Paid 2000¥ only.
If your concern is on convenience and location, can try other hotels. Saw another one directly opp this.
Very good location
dancruzhongkongon 18/07/2015 14:05The location is very good for naha city main street stay. Just next to monorail station and just at the northern end of the shopping street kokusai dori, and very close to makishi market. Just away from the busy street. A medicine and beauty shop is just left to the hotel entrance, in front have a few diners and a family mart.
What surprises me is the Japanese restaurant on the fourth floor, very good japanese food for a very reasonable price, great service, the service lady remembered me and where i prefer to sit and drink... I will try the szechuen chinese restaurant on second floor my next visit, it is said that the chef is Japan famous chinese chef Chan Kan Ichi's student.
Breakfast is nice, good for the package price.
The room is small... not the smallest comparing to tokyo... lol... Standard japanese business hotel size... not in the best condition, but a good place a few days as a station.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay.
