Amazing hotel!
Chrisyong84on 27/08/2017 22:44Really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. Location was perfect, in the heart of Cusco. Walking distance to for example Plaza de armas, Sacsayhuaman. But still was quiet at night. Had a really good sleep. The room was beautiful, clean and really big. Loved my little french balcony to the yard in the morning. The staff was very friendly, serviceminded, polite and helpful. And I loved the breakfastbuffe! Highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

Hotel Rumi Punku - solo female traveler
Jamie Lon 21/08/2017 18:39I booked Hotel Rumi Punku based on a recommendation from a friend, and am so glad I did. The location is perfect - a 5 minute walk to the Plaza de Armas, quick cab ride to the airport, about a 20 minute walk to the Sachsaywayman ruins. There are multiple restaurants on the same block, as well as convenience stores, laundry, and currency exchange. The hotel itself is spotless and very comfortable. I stayed in a single room with full sized bed, and it was perfect. The hotel graciously kept a duffle for me in the office while I was on the Inca trail, and it was waiting for me in my room when I returned. I also took advantage of the one-day laundry service before I left for the next part of my trip. The office staff are very friendly and speak English; they helped to sign me up for day trips to nearby ruins, call cabs, etc. They also have a doorman 24/7 so I felt very safe the entire time.
The breakfast is delicious, it was a great way to start the day before heading out into the city. I had no issues with the WiFi, water pressure, or hot water. The coca tea in the lobby is available 24/7, which was a huge help for me with altitude headaches. The room also has a mini fridge, so I could buy water from the store down the street and keep it cool in the room. The city itself can be noisy at night, but the hotel provides earplugs. Peruvian Independence day fireworks were set off while I was staying there, but I was able to sleep right through them after putting in the ear plugs.
I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone spending time in Cusco; it was not expensive, and worth every penny.
Very comfortable hotel in great location!
Laura Son 20/08/2017 15:53Our family really enjoyed this hotel. Very pretty courtyards! Location was very good - 10 minute walking distance to the main square with lots of restaurants and shopping. Staff were friendly and helpful; stored our bags securely during our treks etc. Rooms were very clean and breakfast options were great. Fruit was delicious and safe to eat! All double beds were very comfortable but one queen bed was not. I asked for a room with double beds upon our return which was great. Free wifi in all rooms.
Nice hotel, but too noisy

The hotel is very nice with large rooms and great breakfast, but it is very noisy due to its proximity to the street and courtyard design. We stayed in room 208, which I would not recommend; it has a window onto the road and also directly overlooks the very noisy courtyard.
