I primarily booked this hotel because of its proximity to museums and airport. I also wanted a good nights sleep after a few days at Tikal, so decided on a costlier hotel in Zone 10 vs. Zone 1. My flight arrived late at night, and being a solo female, I wanted secure airport pickup.

Positives: This hotel is clean, secure, and well located. The breakfast was good, and cost of airport shuttle was included. The desk staff was helpful and the room was clean. The bed was comfortable as well.

Negatives: The shuttle from the hotel did not arrive, and after calling the desk, I was told to take a taxi and receive reimbursement at check-in. I was hoping to avoid late night taxi negotiations by booking this hotel, so was a bit bummed. My room was facing the street and fairly noisy. Closing the windows dulled the noise a bit, but not much. Also, the ceiling fan did not work. So, there wasn't much sleep. Bottled water isn't provided, but can be purchased in the lobby. They also charged me more than the price I was given at booking.

It's a perfectly cute place. Perhaps courtyard rooms are quieter, but for the price, I would not recommend this hotel.

Great boutique hotel

We were so pleasantly surprised by this boutique hotel. We had planned to stay at a nearby Airbnb, but unfortunately the apartment was getting their wifi fixed and we were able to find room in this lovely hotel!

Staff is VERY polite and professional. The hotel is very clean and pleasant. It does feel like an oasis from a busy city. You could never tell you are right next to a busy street.

During our stay there, I also became ill and the staff were very helpful and supportive. I would highly recommend staying there.

I also can't speak highly enough of Roberto and his excellent customer service!

Simply Elegant

This place is down right superb. Very elegant and the service is great. It's an old millionaires mansion converted into this boutique hotel. The elegance of the old mansion is intact (the old polished wood panels, staircase) but yet splashes of contemporary style compliments the look. You would swear this place is in France. The beds are plush and comfy and yes there is hot water (hot water is iffy in Central America). The price is reasonable and the people who check in are respectable. Just one block from the US Embassy and across the street from a walking park the goes down the middle of La Reforma blvd.

Small boutique hotel in Zona 10

This hotel is in a converted colonial mansion and has a very pretty little garden and small pool out back. They offer a free shuttle service to and from the airport and I found the staff there most courteous, friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves a delicious breakfast and dinner. The room itself was nice with a comfortable bed and the usual bathroom facilities.

Relaxed oasis in busy city

Room was comfortable and very clean. Staff professional, friendly and helpful.
When a city tour we booked failed to show, the manager arranged for a personalized driver/ tour of similar itinerary and timing for a much better price.
Meals at in house restaurant are very good value and tasty. Generous complimentary breakfast
Elegant garden poolside complete with water feature.
Enjoyed our stay.
