We absolutely loved Hotel San Domenico! Such a fantastic place, really warm welcome and super helpful people. Beautiful rooms, spotlessly clean, good bathroom and always lots of hot water for powerful showers. Erice is wonderful although a little tricky to drive around when you're arriving late at night and unfamiliar with the narrow, twisty medieval streets. The hotel owner had thoughtfully emailed us a map though which helped a lot. We came for a peaceful, relaxing break in a wonderful historic location and it was the best holiday we've had in ages.

Cozy and friendly stay in Erice

Owner was great, well spirited and always smiling - making us at ease and into restful mood after arriving from hectic Palermo. Beautiful terrace overlooking Erice rooftops and sea view. Highly recommended for a one night stay in Erice.

Charming hotel, helpful staff

This hotel was perfect for our 2 nights in Erice. We were given directions by email, and set a time for our arrival, so that when we arrived Patrick was there to help us unload our luggage and park (for free!). Our room was very comfortable and attractive. My only complaint was the bathroom, which while clean was small. Breakfast was ok, but have had better in Italy. On checking out again we were helped with luggage. The location is excellent, close to restaurants.

Visited here 6 years ago and again this week. Same owners, same wonderful experience. Difficult access typical of Erice, but worth the trip. Rosella provided us with excellent service and a great recommendation for dinner at Monte San Giuliano restaraunt (see my review).
Clean, comfortable room. Typical Sicilian breakfast included. Rosella makes you feel like part of the family. Excellent wifi. Would highly recommend when you are looking for a place to stay in Erice. You will not be dissapointed.

Delightful hotel

The tourist season had just begun and we were the only guests there. The owner and her assistant were friendly and helpful. Guided us to restaurants and other places to see. The room was spacious and comfortable and a pleasant ambiance. It was freezing in Erica and nice to come back to the cozy hotel.
