Pros
- Free parking
- unique and quaint atmosphere
- clean (somewhat) rooms and sheets
- Adjoining Italian restaurant

Cons
- Stuffy, we came during June. No fan or a/c
- Manager seemed somewhat aloof, but settled our needs.
- Small double bed
- did I mention stuffy... I'm kinda sweating here now

Historical atmosphere enchanted rooms

Visited in May for buisness trip what a place so unusual and different from other hotels excellent food and very friendly staff atmosphere at night magical due to the numerous candles lite throughout the hotel. Great choice at breakfast

Stunning hotel

I stayed in March 17 whilst here on business.
Lovely hotel, great breakfast , handy location, 20 minute walk to find restaurants etc.
Nice and clean and beautifully designed.

I found the rooms weren't very soundproof, however late noise in a room next door was addressed by reception very quickly.
I found the bed was to hard for me....lovely four poster bed but with 2 single mattresses pushed together ...I kept on waking up stuck in the middle! .
I would stay here again but would make sure I was in a quieter are of the hotel. reception really helpful and they spoke English beautifully, however myself and my colleague struggled with the hotels resturant.... trying to order Italian food in a German speaking restaurant was no easy task!
They had English menus but they were not very descriptive .
We found it easier to walk into town, we had no problems there and definitely try the traditional Bavarian restaurant in Rosenheim....that was lovely.

Fascinating property, beautiful & interesting place to stay, worth a detour

Found this hotel on the internet. Must be visited. Has the appearance of a converted monastery/convent, but in fact seems to be a new build. Quite astonishing character and detail throughout the building. Doors, furniture and room design all have different shapes and designs and must have been a joiner's delight, or nightmare.

We chose a larger room (216) which had a sitting area, upstairs nook which would be great for children, and a waterbed. Very comfortable. There seems to be a variety of different rooms, from singles to larger doubles.

Excellent standard of service. Breakfast very good too.

Best dine in the restaurant in the property and be served by 'monks'. Also an excellent experience.

A quaint and quirky little place.

We booked this hotel at very short notice on Thursday night and were delighted with what we found. We checked in at 10pm and found the staff very helpful. The restaurant was still open so we enjoyed a quick meal. Rooms were both spacious and quirky and very clean. We enjoyed everything about our stay with the exception of the reception staff phoning our room at 1.00am to ask what time our friends would be back at (they were about to lock up). Would certainly visit again though.
