5 days in Sante Fe hotel
Sean Mon 02/07/2017 17:36My wife and I along with our two kids 10 and 8 stayed here for 5 nights. We had booked for 7 but left early to check into the resort Villa Del Palmar. The Hotel Santa fe was clean and staff was very friendly. Arne was the concierge who was awesome setting us up with some excursions. Hotel is across the street from a park with a small playground, running track, a mini turf soccer field 3v3 was perfect and a covered basketball court. Every night we took the kids over to play some soccer and always had a few local kids come over and play with us. Location of hotel is about 5 to 10 minute walk to downtown area where the Mission is located and a few good stores to shop. As I said hotel was clean, comfortable but 5 days was more than enough to stay in downtown Loretto and get a feel for the town. We did three excursion hiking, Coronado island and Outpost Charters for fishing during our stay at sante fe. I would stay here again but two nights would be plenty just to eat at some of the local restaurants.
Disappointed with the Hotel Santa Fe
baja-alanon 23/06/2017 01:54This is just a basic hotel. The rooms are very basic but nice. The bed was a bit soft for my taste. The restaurant is mixed in with a convenience store at one end. Food was OK. I was disappointed overall.
Just fine, wasn't my first pick but worked. Clean, safe.
bfrazieron 22/06/2017 05:28Sounds as if I spent more for a room here than everyone else, but the room was just a room, clean enough, spartan, and what I found strange was some of the hand made woodwork that didn't jive with the upscale architecture of the building. I was here the week after Easter, town was still pretty full of visitors - a great time of year to be there. I had planned to be at a little boutique Hotel not far from here, but seriously this is just fine. Staff was great - no issues with them. Bed's nightstand light was inoperative - not a big deal.
Hotel Santa Fe
Candice Lon 07/06/2017 08:47Hotel Santa Fe was the ideal romantic getaway for us. As soon as we arrived at the reception desk the kind lady was welcoming as we booked our room. We stayed on the first floor to enjoy the pool surrounded by the hotel rooms. The room was charming which included a kitchen in the quaint studio-like hotel. The next morning we kindly asked for a late check out to enjoy breakfast at the hotel's restaurant (we loved the chilaquiles and fresh juice), touring at the malecón, and visiting the first misión in Baja Calif. We recommend this beautiful hotel for its friendly staff, amenities, Spanish style hotel with pool in the center of it all, charming hotel rooms, and delicious food. Thank you kind lady and Francisco at the hotel's reception desk.
Pleasant stay
Carlyroxon 29/05/2017 15:54Hotel Santa Fe is a nice hotel. Our room was clean and quiet. If you have never been to Loreto, be aware that the short walk to the town square and the Malecon is easy in the early morning, but the sun is blazing hot for much of the day, and walking home when it is in the 90s, is much more difficult. We did buy some excellent local food to take back to our room, because after one round trip walk to town, we were happy to read and snack in our room in the evening. Also, although there is free Wifi, we were frequently unable to connect. There are internet cafes downtown.
