Charming county side castle with a few deficits
Erik_HCSon 01/10/2016 18:35We were staying at the castle with a larger group of couples and had an arranged dinner etc. Unfortunately did the personelle did not put much effort into serving the non-german speaking guests in English but stuck to pure good German. Our room was nice and large but the old spider webs and dead flys in the laps could have been removed. Also did the hotel not respect the arrangement of a gala dinner but turned it into a buffet which was setup in a way that there was always a que. All in all was it a nice stay but nothing above the average besides the location of the castle.
Really bad food

The hotel rooms are okay. The natur around the hotel is very beautiful.
I can NOT recommend this hotel because they served the worst food I have ever tasted.
The breakfast was boring and the dinner was terrible.
Wifi is NOT existing in the rooms. I had room number one very close to the reception, and I was not able to connect to the wifi.

Erkki Lon 26/07/2015 19:13I have never experienced waiting in front of a close hotel before. I had confirmed reservation for the night through hotel.com. I was able to reach them but they were not able to help very much, so we drove another hundread km to Rostock to take an int'l hotel. Not good. we are still waiting for a resolution on this fiasco......
A nice weekend in a old castle

Very nice atmosphere, excellent food, and very friendly staff.
We had 3 beautiful days here, and went back home, full of energy.
I recommend this place if you need relaxation.
Lovely breakaway.
Heidi Hon 24/06/2013 15:05We recently had a 3 days-twonights stay at Schloss Wedendorf which really is a charming Manor house. Spacious and nicely furbished rooms.Great location,tranquil with greenery allround at a lake with canoes available.
Half board recommended as no restaurant nearby. Food excellent.
