Excellent although a few small points that could be better

Hotel room was in the new part of the building was was beautiful and clean, except for a bit of white dust on the floor. Should have been vacuumed again before guests arrived though!
Bed was soft and the pillow unsupportive. Will take my pillow next time!
Italian Restaurant was delicious and is in the same building, so no need to go out looking for somewhere.
Personnel were friendly and at least 1 lady spoke English.
Breakfast Buffet was sufficient and good quality.
Also a wellness/Spa facility, which is supposed to be famous.
We didn't have to go in, unfortunately!
We are hoping to stay here again next year.
Just ok
trippybugon 13/09/2016 17:51We have stayed here for one night as part of a stopover during our European road trip. The room we were given was overlooking the carpark and the little piazzetta at the back of the hotel. The room was ok, the decor slightly dated but it was clean and that's all we needed for the night. The breakfast was surprisingly nice and overall I'd say it offered good value for money for the someone travelling on a budget.
Pleasant stay
SylvieMon 23/08/2016 20:58We have a nice stay in this pleasant and quiet hotel for 6 days. The room and bathroom was ok but the balcony with a table, 2 easy-chair and flowers and a view of the castel and the mountains was excellent.
The wifi in the room was very good and so was the breakfast.

TravelerT359on 27/05/2016 04:29We enjoyed a very spacious room with balcony in full view of the castles, the sommerrodelbahn, and the alps. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also very nice as was the walk in the village. Make sure you visit Beim Elle next door, it is one of the best shops in Europe.
Rather bad for the area
wizzarrddon 08/01/2016 15:581. The hotel is rather old and is was the obvious smell of cigarettes in a non-smoking room.
2. There were no bathroom supplies in the bathroom when checked in but it got refilled upon us notifying them.
3. The location is rather good as you can get into Schloss Neuschwanstein within 5 mins drive.
