Canadianinswitzon 16/03/2017 00:12Excellent hotel. Nicely renovated. Clean and comfortable room. Friendly staff. Great restaurant and lounge area. Not an ideal location for the piste, but good for exploring Arosa. Nice views. I would stay here again.
Relaxing week at the Seehof
jeanchristophetr2017on 12/02/2017 15:30We spent one very relaxing week at the Seehof. The hotel is situated in a quiet street, a five minutes walk from the train station and the Weisshorn cablecar.
We had a quiet 'north side' two persons room which was spacious, clean and well equipped. The breakfast buffet was well furnished and offered a large assortment of local products (cheese, yogurt, bread,...). The hotel has two restaurants. The main restaurant "The Usteria" provides a fine mix of traditional regional food and modern recipes. We also ate fine mexican food at the second restaurant of the hotel, the Cuculouche. Both restaurants offer good value for money and are staffed by friendly and helpful waiters and waiteresses. The staff of the reception and the direction were friendly and always ready to answer our queries about the hotel, Arosa, the ski-passes,...
We found that the Seehof offers the right mix of conviviality, comfort and quality for a very reasonable price (by Swiss standards, of course...). This combined with the great ski domain of Arosa-Lenzerheide makes it a great place to stay.
“Ancient hotel by the Untersee lake”
patilsapana1on 28/01/2017 07:40The hotel is ancient (built in 1800s)!!! It has a chic and elegant lobby where they play the best of soothing music (at just the right volume) setting a perfect atmosphere to fall back in the comfy sofas and enjoy the views of the mountains through the huge glass windows. The staff are warm, friendly and helpful. They provided us with cards that offered free local cable car and train rides. The hotel is at a walking distance from the Untersee and Obersee lakes, Arosa railway station, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets.
No wi-fi and phone in the room. The way to the hotel although beautiful is very long. It took us 40 minutes to drive up from the base while tackling the windings and the road blocks. The hotel should warn guests about the time it would take to drive up. The junior suite doesn't offer great views. So we moved to a smaller room facing the mountains and the Untersee lake. This view was awesome. Only one restaurant was functional and it had limited menu.

chrissy557on 05/07/2016 19:39Very friendly, clean, nice little Hotel! We forgot to tell that we arrive earlier than check in time, and we had to go to a wedding! they prepared the room, and it was ready 30 minutes after!!! perfect service! we will return!
