Not recommended for traveler that bring baby stroller

Galih Rangga Kon 24/05/2017 09:27

Not recommended the entrance from the street is only stairs, no access for stroller or wheelchair. I book 1 double bed & 1 single in one room, but it's small. For you non Asian traveler will not comfortable with this, since you will really hard to move inside the room. But they give pajamas, extra pillow or blanket, portable heater (all without extra cost). Self laundry service and vending machine is located in 3rd floor, i recommend family traveler choose this floor.

I ask the staff to let me have early check-in since we already arrive in the hotel at 11:00 AM and we really tired from night flight, the staff rejected at first, then after rested in the lobby for 1 hour, the staff give us the early check in. Maybe the staff see us with the baby and feel something, i don't know, i just think positive.

This service is what makes me give 4 star, instead of 3 star.

Lion's Rock does not Rock at all

We stayed here for several nights. it was expensive, cramped, and dirty. Dust everywhere and it backed directly onto the highway. It was very expensive for what we got (we stayed at the Hotel Hanshin on our last 2 days which was 10 times better, the only plus was the Managing Director Hiroshi (who is a rabbit that they dress up every morning) and the location. However, as the subway system is so awesome, the location became a non event. Our room smelt of smoke, requiring us to open the window and ventilate. Our 11 year old took to spraying her perfume around to get rid of the smell. I could continue, but I think that is enough. Plenty of better places to stay. Wifi was good though.

Room is not clean

Room is not cleaned enough. Can see the dirt on pressing buttons, knock, door, toilet bowl, accumulated over the years. the toilet bowl is not the type with shower bidet function. The room is old a lot of wear and tear. This is not good for family with young kid to stay.

Very average

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. We were shocked when we entered our room as it was like nothing we'd seen advertised online. It was old, cramped and smelt of smoke (despite being non smoking). The staff were usually helpful but that was the highlight of the stay.

Never expect hotel staff in Japan like this!!!

We have booked a room for 6 persons.
We check out in the winter early morning,
We decide to bring some tissue paper from our room,as our needed,
because of all of us are catching a cold.
one of the staff named Hiroki Tanabe,he realized that and said rudely to us,
"Why you taking this, you can use it,but you can not take it,this is common sense!"
We really get hurt......
I strongly suggest the hotel staffs should explain to the guest politely,
what they are not allowed to do and take from the hotel room,
instead of "THIS IS COMMON SENSE"
Overall,the location was fine.
