Decent hotel but away from city
Sankarbeon 31/07/2017 12:50Decent hotel to stay but away from the city. I stayed here for a night as part of package. Rooms were spacious and clean, but bathroom door locks were broken. Initially we got only one towel with no soap or toiletries in the room. We booked 2 rooms for 4 adults but they provided only 1 towel in both the rooms. I called them to get additional towels and soap, but they took many hours and many calls to provide it. It looks like they had shortage of towels, other guests too faced same problem.
Food was good and location is good for those with own car or vehicle.
Good service, rooms & nice views
aashish_rainaon 20/05/2017 10:00I stayed in this hotel for a few days. I have to say that the service is extremely good and the staff is courteous. They are ready to help at all the time, even though the hotel is not in the main city and has very few shops etc nearby.
The rooms are good with great views.
They could improve a bit in vegetarian food. Non-vegetarian looked delicious but unfortunately couldn't eat due to stomach ache :(
Value for money, comfortable after coming from chilled weather of Gulmarg.
maushamion 12/04/2017 10:55Little bit far away from main city of Srinagar, but ones you enter in the hotel after sightseeing, it make you feel like in you home, in house restaurant with good quality food.it is also near to airport. They have there hukka parlour even, in house gymkhana.
Overall good hospitality.

nehas00808on 15/02/2017 05:59We were 4 people. + Kids we were visiting Srinagar for the first time. We stayed for 3 days in Srinagar. It was overall a very good experience. The hotel property is excellent. The garden area and the interior is also Excellent. it is a very good place to enjoy your stay in Srinagar. Hotel Silver Star.the food in the hotel is very tasty. Staff were helpful and friendly.. We enjoyed our tour.............I visit to Srinagar again *****
Excellent Stay
SANDEEP1055on 24/01/2017 10:32I have stayed in this hotel in the month of June 2016 and it was great staying there. It is located near to Airport and we can visit any of the tourist places in valley. Being on Highway there is no travelling issues one can easily get taxi, train or flight from there. I am in travelling job but about this hotel its ambience, its service and staff all very well maintained and helpful. Its one of its kind and really I can not forget my stay it was so awesome. I will always stay in Silver star when ever I think of Kashmir.
