What People are saying

A small oasis near a bustling city, very friendly & helpful staff

Tine Won 04/06/2017 10:39

The staff was very helpful & accommodating, any questions or concerns I had were dealt with kindly & professionally.
The room was quaint, original and clean. The lighting was very cosy. The shower was amazing, a rain shower with good pressure! Floor heating adds a nice touch to the whole experience.
What I appreciated most was the extremely kind considerations of Toos & Sandra (restaurant, breakfast) for my many food allergies. They adapted a whole breakfast to these allergies with bright, empathic smiles on their faces. They took the time to find diet-friendly bread and to make diet-friendly pancakes. Fresh fruit and champagne to top it all off. Best breakfast ever! Thank you Toos & Sandra!

Friendly staff

Though my hotel reservation was overlooked, despite the confirmation e-mail I received, I was warmly welcomed and take care of. The staff booked me in a different hotel and offered a free-of-charge dinner.
To summarise: I can only rate the staff, not the rooms, spa or other but hope to do so at a later time if my reservation is also really reserved.

Comportable hotel in commercial area

bramm_travelon 16/03/2017 15:23

A comfortable yet quirky hotel in commercial setting. Being on a business trip, I did not have time too visit the Spa. I would have preferred core conventional room and a more modern bathroom with separate shower. Reception and bar service good and friendly. Breakfast was tasty and enjoyed in a quiet setting.

Ridiculous pomposity!

The only good thing about this restaurant is the laughs it gave us, unfortunately not on purpose. We did not experience the spa or hotel, but the restaurant was a true disappointment and we wish we had eaten in the center of the Hague rather than trek out to this self-conscious place which just tries too hard and doesn't deliver. The ambiance is severe, the staff are nervous and gratuitous, and so slow that we thought we were going to scream. We arrived at 7:15, had tiny appetizers and even tinier main courses, a dessert (skipped coffee), and did not get out until past 10:30. The food was so overly salted that none of us could eat it even though we were starving from waiting so long. We should have known when we entered and it took someone 10 minutes to hang our three coats that it was going to be a long, strange night, and it was. At one point we burst out laughing when all of our clean silverware was taken by a gloved hand, one by one, veeeeery slowly, and then replaced 15 minutes later. A mysterious ritual. We RAN out of there...hungry but relieved.

small boutique Hotel which claimes to be 5 star

lbonsingon 11/01/2017 15:08

Booked this yhrough the internet where they offered 5 star de luxe with a suite on top floor were there should be a buffet for the guesst on this floor only. But at 18.00 I had to call reception if there would be still a buffet ( we paid a lot more for top floor) and when it came it was a bif bottle of water ..yes water with some citrus inside and 3 packs of crackers still in their foil and 5 slices of brie, some slices of salami and a other sliced salami. That was all!!!!! I stayed in a lot of places but then there would be at least mayba a wine or soft drink but for sure more then this. But ok. The room looked at first glance luxurious but was very warm and the bed also kept the bodyheat and was impossible to sleep good. so for this I could not go back here and then I would suggest to other people..just pay less and dont go for the topfloor. Also If you just park your car all night in front off Hotel it doesnt cost you anything and if you park behind P1 then you pay 12,50. If you sleep you dont need to drive your car out after 1 in the night so then just park for free in front of Hotel. Very strange this.
