Excellent Hotel!!
formykids12on 21/06/2017 13:00Spent our first two nights in Romania at Splendid. Hotel is in a very good location with excellent parking. Reserve a lake side room...they are lovely! Room is a good size and very clean. They had left me a very nice treat for my birthday which was such a lovely gesture and much appreciated! Breakfast is terrific and plentiful! Something for everyone. Staff is friendly. Bed is quite firm, but we found that in every hotel we stayed in Romania. Definitely would recommend. People who complain about their children not being able to use the pool need to read before they book. On every site that I looked at this hotel it is stated children are not allowed in the pool this is a spa hotel....do your research people and don't complain afterwards! This is a wonderful hotel...don't hesitate!

the breakfast is good and fresh.
the parking area is big and it is video monitored.
there are few minutes to walk to the beach.

Anca Bon 29/05/2017 13:13Forget about it if you're planning a trip with kids. Not child friendly. At all.
We weren't allowed to take our son to the pool, although when we booked the room there was nothing mentioned about this.
The noise was horrible as well. The hotel is situated by the road (even if you have lake view) and although we had a room on the last floor, the noise was terrible. Imagine yourself in the city center of a crowded european capital. It was pretty much the same.
Also, there were some guests that came to the next door room at 3am and we could hear everything they were saying/swearing/yelling like they were in the same room with us.
Breakfast included, but really poor. There were around 10 fruits (and 5 had mold on them) in total for everyone staying in the hotel.
Last but not least. Sheets on the sofa bed were stained and really dirty.
Highly overpriced for what it has to offer.
Not relaxing at all.
Great location, with great services
Adrian Con 29/05/2017 07:31A very quiet, clean and nice hotel. A very good option for business travelers that need rest and relaxation after work.
We liked: Large and nice rooms, very clean, super kind and professional staff, excellent breakfast.
We didn't like: TV signal so poor, we cannot use the tv-set.
Very poor customer experience
Marinela Ton 26/03/2017 11:17Just left this 4 stars hotel where we received a bill for 1 lunch and 1 dinner HIGHER thn the accomodation. Breakfast was included except for the water, we were charged for that too.
The elevator was broken.
The door was blocked before the checkout.
To receive a lemonade it takes more thn 1h after asking for it 3 times.
The room wasn't ready when we arrived even if we specified the time.
No one asked if we need help with the luggage.
No one apologized.
