Great Stay
WilliamWilliamsonon 10/08/2017 00:07On arrival I was greeted by a chearful Receptionist who was more than happy to inform me of what I needed to know. I found the room to be very clean and spacious and there was a desk for me to carryout some work on my laptop with free wifi and all very close of the city centre.
Paderborn has a lovely park area which seems to be quite up until about 12 in the afternoon then gets quite busy from about 12 on.
There are a lot of great shops and restaurants and I would recommend visiting the Currywurst Stand and trying the lovely Curry Sausage.
Breakfast Disaster
davidoxon 18/06/2017 12:53The hotel is very nice, clean and very comfortable, the rooms are very well furnished and the bathroom was super clean with all modern comforts.
The only complaint I have is about the Breakfast, which for me is an important part of any hotel. On our first day we got into breakfast (in The TorHaus Annexe) around 7.30 am at 8 am we asked for some bread only to be told there was none left? Amazing, the staff said she could try the main hotel, but was reluctant to do so. The 2nd day for breakfast was also a bit of a disaster, we came down to breakfast only to find, no Breakfast. No one had bothered to tell us in advance that the Breakfast would now be in the Main Building!
Also the whole time we were there,the Breakfast staff were so unhelpful and surly,and seemed to resent actually looking after us as guests.
Unlike the lady who cleaned our room, she was helpful, kind and cheerful, in complete contrast to the two on breakfast duty.
Otherwise I would have given the hotel a better rating, but as I said, for me Breakfast is a big deal.
Super clean and central
mariaevershedon 08/10/2016 08:21Wonderful hotel , possibly the cleanest room I have ever stayed in , lots of nice touches like candle in bathroom and mini bottle of wine . Central for night out and big car park in close proximity that the hotel give you a free voucher for , can't fault it .
Welcoming & comfy

The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need it all feels like they were kitted out by someone who stays in the rooms.
Excellent breakfast buffet and perfect boiled eggs - what more can you want to start the day!
Can't knock the place
Dan Won 28/03/2016 21:49We spent Easter 2016 in Paderborn. We were a little worried as I don't speak a lot of German, but the capable staff kindly overlooked my mangling of their language, and replied in English. The room (for 4 - two adults, two kids) was good sized, clean, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was well managed with both hot (varieties of eggs) and cold (traditional continental) dishes available.
The only downside was that there's no real bar available - beer can be had but it's not a bar. There's a good rock bar next door, though, very friendly and again, they speak good English. Parking is just around the corner from the hotel, you need to pay if it's a working day, but I think it was less than 8 Euro a day. Something like that, anyway. Short walk to the centre of the city, and a nice walk at that.
