I love this hotel. Its in a great position on the sea front so you can walk along the promenade in both directions. It is quiet The food is good the rooms are clean beds are comfy and the staff are so helpful nand cheerful that its a real pleasure to revisit every February. Some of te staff have worked there for years so that says something about the management . The chef makes themost gorgeous little cakes and there is always lots of choice with freshly cooked items at evey meal. well done!

We spent two weeks at the Don Gregory at the beginning of May

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. The accommodation was very clean and well maintained.

Plenty of restaurants in the area with a choice of cuisine.
Pool area well maintained

Excellent Hotel and staff

We visited this hotel end of January 2017 for one week, we were all inclusive. This is one of the best hotels we have been to and this is due to the hotel rooms all having sea views and due to the helpfulness of the staff; some rooms unfortunately have views blocked due to the trees. We were placed in a ground floor apartment which had sea views but was also a walkway for the main route to Playa Del Ingles. There were loungers for sun bathing on the grassed area and a table and chairs but did feel a bit like being in a goldfish bowl; this is just my opinion and others may like this position due to the views of the sea being so close. We did ask the staff to be moved and were willing to pay. They were very helpful and said we could move the next day to the second floor or wait for two days and move to the fourth floor for No extra charge which I was amazed. The views on the fourth floor were beautiful, sea view and pool view. The staff all over the hotel were polite and very helpful. There was waiter service in the pool area and also on a night in the hotel. The drinks service on the night was excellent when serving drinks, the staff were on the ball with the drinks and this is the best hotel I have been to for the politeness and eagerness to serve. The food was good but only served 1 type of vegetable a time and no gravy was available, my husband likes his veg and gravy, this could easily be rectified. This was close enough to walk to Play del Ingles; 10-15minute walk along the pathway with sea views, although there was a few stairs to walk up to get to it, there is a disabled access to push wheelchairs up. The hotel and the area I found was very clean. This hotel is having a refurb from April to August 2017, unsure if this will be the same service but I can not see why they would change such a excellent way of service. This is certainly a hotel we will be returning to; a lot of people we spoke to return year after year due to this service.

Room Tip: I always request a superior room and think this would be best.

Saga visit

Weeks Saga holiday at this resort proved to be excellent.
Hotel on the beach and good for walks in both directions.
Car hire opposite at good rates and bus links a few hundred yards away.

Rooms were a good size and kept clean and tidy.
Pool area reasonable size and 'regimented' lines of sun loungers. An army of cleaners tidy the area each morning.

Eating area good size with Buffet food available. Good selection and replenished frequently. Self service area compact and can get busy. Waiter staff very friendly and helpful.

Lounge and entertainment area does get busy and entertainment good. Bar area good.

Would not hesitate in returning to this resort and Hotel.

As we departed the hotel the following week was about to commence a six month refurbishment and improvements to pool and entertainment areas. Should be good.

Lovely holiday in a first class hotel

The location of the hotel was excellent couldn't be bettered. We had a top floor room with stunning views of the bay. The pool was lovely and was warm so often they are cold. From the garden you could access the promenade and a lovely bay.
The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The food was fresh tasty and varied.
The room was spacious comfortable and spotless.
Never had better free wifi.
All in all a holiday we want to repeat as soon as possible.
