AWFUL......NO INN RUNS OUT OF HOT WATER AT 6:15AM!!!!
Woodburn1958on 06/11/2017 01:19Huge disappointment......although it appears quaint, clean, and comfy this place is far from it! My wife and I just stayed this past Sat night 11-4-17. Shower runs out of hot water at 6:25AM, both doors squeaky, bedspread ripped and worn, lousy bed with noisy boxsprings...Well that should be enough to convince anyone to stay at the Comfort Inn!!
And when I reported these problems at checkout the help could have cared less....

Jack Son 30/10/2017 12:38Now I know where all my grandma's doilies ended up. We actually stayed in the room on the Trip advisor sight. Yes this is an average hotel but historically it is one of the unique country hotels of yesterday year. To say the rooms are dated well the place is old but it does have a newer annex. The place needs some TLC. Our room had electrical issue in bath and one window had no blind, no problem we just put a towel on the window.
They have a restaurant and pub, being a pub type we tried it and it was fine. As I sat there I thought of travelers in the 1800's pulling up on their wagon or horse for a refreshing beverage pretty interesting.
Over all the place needs some work and for me remove some of the dust catchers.
Enjoyed our stay in the Strasburg
BlueFleckon 25/10/2017 04:03I was taking my wife on a trip that was focused on historical places so I found an historic hotel to add to the experience. We enjoyed the Strasburg Hotel and the town of Strasburg itself as we were able to walk around the neighborhoods and charming downtown. The staff was very friendly and helpful plus I enjoyed visiting with other guests in the lobby and early in the morning at the Continental Breakfast. Our room was very colorful, clean and comfortable. The WiFi was a problem and not working our first night the young lady on the front desk let me set up my laptop in the lobby and use her cell phone as a hot spot so I could take care of some immediate travel plans. The WiFi when working is slow but we weren't there to spend time on the computer. My wife loved the hotel and we had a real safe parking area for our vehicle as we had our kayaks loaded on it and were concerned.
Avoid The Strasburg Inn
Bill Mon 23/10/2017 01:01I booked a 3 night stay in Strasburg while attending a family school function for my granddaughter. I'm partial to historical hotels when I travel and understand their inherent shortcomings. Nevertheless, this hotel was a disappointment.
The room was decent but dirty. The carpet around the bed looked like a nightly party had taken place with little regard for the consequences. The bathroom sink would barely drain and after complaining, the hotel staff brought me my very own bottle of Drano on the third day so that I could presumably fix my own problem. They also claimed to be "so busy" that they never made up our room on that third day.
I could go on. This place is popular and I hate giving bad reviews but in this case, it's justified. If you're into historic hotels in this part of VA, I'd recommend The Wayside Inn in Middletown and skip this dump. Just sayin'.
No rooms available
Rob Con 21/10/2017 04:14I booked a room at the hotel and received the conformation email. When I arrived, I was told no rooms were available and advised that this happens every weekend with reservations through Trip Advisor/Booking.com. We were forced to search for another property after 9:00 PM.
Additionally, my wife was loudly approached by a woman exiting the restaurant who’d had a bit much to drink and was complaining about her cheating boyfriend.
We will not give it another shot.
