Fantastic once again!
Jcart1981on 01/08/2017 08:52Our third trip to the hotel and it never lets us down. Beautiful, peaceful setting and the rooms are of a very high standard, particularly the large upstairs rooms. Close to Tyne Cot and the town of Roeselare is charming and within a 40minute walk (bus also available!) The owners always go out of their way to accommodate guests and they can also recommend a very reliable taxi transfer. The restaurant food is amazing, wouldn't even consider eating elsewhere! Many thanks to Angela and Eddie for another enjoyable stay, no doubt we will return again soon!
A Delightful Experience
cwelmanon 12/04/2017 10:22The hotel is situated just outside Roeselare in open countryside. A very peaceful location.
The rooms are in a separate building to the restaurant and bar and are a recent addition. The room that I occupied was clean and well designed with a tiled wet room and wooden floor in the room, air conditioning was excellent.
I ate in the restaurant for the 3 nights of my stay which had great service from the team. Eddie (Chef) and Angela (front of house) made the experience enjoyable.
If you are going to this region I would highly recommend a stop off at the Hotel Ter Zuidhoek.
It's a must!!

Situated 10 minutes from Roeselare town it's handy for travel links to Brugge etc. 7 rooms in total and each is as great as the next. We stayed in the large family room on the top floor, didn't want to leave after the week was up. Very peaceful and the owners Angela and Eddy make you feel very welcome. Breakfast is served in the morning and is a continental breakfast, Angela and Eddy run the restaurant as well with help from their son Michael. The rooms have free wifi and tea/coffee facilities - there's even a box of delicious biscuits! There is plenty of storage space and the beds are super comfy, the shower was huge!! and very powerful. The surrounding countryside makes for a very peaceful stay. Highly recommend to stay here if you are visiting Belgium and you are looking to travel into the bigger cities :) or even if you just want a peaceful week away from the hustle and bustle!

Room was very spacious and well furnished, with tea, coffee, water and biscuits provided. Stylish and very comfortable.
Food was excellent and we enjoyed a very pleasant night here and definitely plan to return.
Location is ideal for visiting Brugge, Ghent, Brussels and the coast. Also very convenient for Ypres and the surrounding cemeteries.
Eddy and Angela have worked hard to establish this Hotel and they are very welcoming hosts.

James Lon 04/10/2015 15:05Highly recommended. Last minute booking to avoid horrific Park Hotel experience in center of Roeselare. Belgian owner and Scottish wife couldn't have been more welcoming. Comfortable, clean, out of center in lovely flat countryside. Excellent breakfast. A little more gardening and interior work would make this place even better but overall, no complaints at all.
