First of all the location is really aweful. They have some rooms that smell terrible and they seem as they have seen better times. But what is really terrible is the food. It is Best to avoid it. No need to repeat this experience.

Not o 4* hotel

I have nothing good to say about this hotel. Stayed in room 212.

The room was very small and smelly.
The carpet was dirty, affected by fire and old.
The furniture was old and destroyed by cigarettes.
The bathroom door was in a deplorable state.
The wi-fi router is in the main lobby of each floor, so a good internet connection is just in the rooms nearby.
The elevator is capable to carry only 3 people or 2 + luggage.
The breakfast was very poor consisting of: rock solid bread, 2 muffins, 1 small cube of margarine, 1 small cube of peach gem, half a cup of coffee, 1 glass of orange juice.
The hotel is situated just near railway an the noise of the trains does not let you sleep.

I definitely do not recommend the hotel.

Small room, dirty and stained carpets everywhere, small reception area, broken walls in all rooms and halls, elevator for 2 persons, plastic glasses in the room.very poor continental breakfast,no liquid soap, no shampoon, small coach parking,uncareful waiters. Not a 4 star hotel. A 2 star hotel at most. Quite noisy because of the train .

Surprising value

I got a tiny worn out room with a small TV showing chat shows and tarot card readings. Breakfast was adequate but not good. Hotel was clean and staff were helpful and charming. The best thing about the hotel was the price €49 including breakfast. Very good value. Can't think of a hotel in uk that would have such low charges. We could only find 1 place to eat within walking distance but that was good enough and we had food for 5 and 3 large beers each for less than 100 euros. All in all an OK experience for one night if you need to be close to the industrial park and €30 taxi to the airport.

Looking on their website, my husband & I thought felt that the rooms looked clean & comfortable. Our 3 night stay could not have been further from the truth...with a room the size of a walk-in closet (literrally only one of us could be standing and moving at the same time) , furniture & decor that looked like it was borrowed from Stalin's barracks, mattress that felt more like a camping cot, a window that did not shut completely, water stains, ancient a/c that kept blowing cigarette smoke smells, and the constant screeching of the trains (literally right behind the hotel) and hotel staff that politely told us that there was nothing else they could do... I asked the front desk if we could move rooms as the room was so vastly different from what was advertised and that we would be happy to pay an extra fee if needed and were told, bluntly, "no there's nothing else available. All the rooms are the same." I may be polite but I'm not that naive! Outright lie. When I pointed out that the photos on their website looked very different, she admitted the photos look like the rooms are bigger and nicer. Then she added that the first floor rooms were the only ones with parquet flooring instead of the gross carpet with decades of stains that were in ours.
Of course, I did not complain as we were part of a group booking and were told (at check in) that "normal" rates were €100-120/night and we were getting the room for €52/night. Then I found out that booking.com was advertising rates from €43/night!! Another outright lie.
Positives...good wait staff in the breakfast room, next to Lidl, good wifi.
Overall, very disappointed. Will not book here again.
