Great view of the valley from the back terrace!

johancastellon 29/05/2017 09:52

We visited Bomdila on the way to Tawang in 2013 and stayed here during the coldest time of the year in December. The owner was really nice and pulled in heaters from two different rooms to keep us warm and cozy. The rooms itself had a feeling of a wooden cabin with a lot of wood inside, over the walls and all. We stayed in a room with two separate single beds, and the room also had a tea kettle, tv, hot water, ample room to move around even with all our bags from the motorcycles inside the room. The hotel also had parking under cover for our bikes, a neat bar, a huge terrace on the back facing the valley with uninterrupted views! Food wise; the restaurant in the hotel had the best food we had on the entire trip, even though the menu had all the classic Indian food, it was obvious that effort and care had been put in to prepare the meals like professionals! It was delicious!

Great place to stay in Bomdila

I landed up here after having checked into to another hotel which I did not like much. Tsepal is small hotel with rooms done up in wood paneling from ceiling to roof, this gives you the feeling of staying in a log cabin, in a good way. The rooms are small compared to other hotels I stayed in during my trip to Tawang but clean with flat TV, Hot water kettle, and A/C set to 24-26 degrees - it gets cold outside so you need a room heater or in this case an A/C. The washrooms are clean with toiletries provided - a first among all the hotels on route to Tawang.
The breakfast is basic standard that you get in most hotels here. This place is close to the center of town so you could around for various dinner options.
I would rate this as a better option to stay in Bomdila go for it

Wonderful place to stay in Bomdila

I was expecting a very basic hotel in Bomdila and this was a total surprise. It has extremely cozy rooms with all facilities and amenities (running hot water, heater, tea kettle, dryer, toiletries).
The food and breakfast served was excellent.
Also, it is centrally located in the market place (but not noisy), hence you can stroll around the market in the evening and it is worth visiting. You can get good woollens, jackets and shoes at a very reasonable price.
An excellent place to stay.

Best Hotel in Bomdila

The Hotel is most centrally located in Bazar Line...It has spacious rooms with effective heating..(some times noisy though)..The staff are very polite and ready to serve with smile...You can have wonderful views of the mighty hills looming large at the back terrace. The market area on the street opens early at 7.30 till 7 Pm (Summer) and sells
some stylish shoes/apparels and not to miss local Apple / KIWI fruits..The hotel is very reasonably prices and the food quality is good. The bathrooms differ from room to room and has scope for improvment.

Cozy Little Hotel

Small hotel having small basic comfortable rooms with good heating. The staff is good & hospitable. Location is excellent as its located in midst of the town. Food quality is also reasonably good. The interiors are quite dark thereby making you want to go outside the premises. Probably the place to stay in Bomdila.
