very romantic place
frommilantominskon 19/04/2017 21:08We arrived in Hotel Zum Ritter after a Long motorbike trip, exhausted. The welcome was perfect and the place as comfortable as we hoped. The room, warm and cosy, gave us all the rest we needed. The next morning, we discovered the medieval-style room in which the breakfast is served : dark and heavy wood everywhere. The buffet was generous and offered varied food. For this Price, it really was a great surprise. probably the best halt in Fulda.
Restaurant visit
rileyd100on 28/07/2016 19:06On a short visit to Fulda my wife, son & I ate at the hotel's restaurant. We were impressed not only by the friendliness of the service and the delicious food but particularly by the way the staff put themselves out to make a variety of adjustments to the normal Ingredients to ensure that my son could eat there safely (he has a rare genetic condition that impacts on the food he can eat).
It was all so good that we invited friends to eat there with us 2 days later. Ausgezeichnet!
Will located hotel
Juttakrafft Kon 13/07/2016 18:26Located five walking minutes to the historic center and cathedral. Nice beer garden,but the rooms are not very modern,in summer very hot,personal not very helpful and the breakfast buffet is not very various.
Quiet Hotel in Fulda
Harry Ton 06/07/2016 18:08This was our third stay at this hotel and I wanted to give it another shout out! As before, the service was very helpful and efficient. They provide locked storage for our bicycles. The room was clean and quiet. It is a great location, just steps from the center and Dom, but on a very quiet street. The restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was included and with many choices. Enjoyable to stay here!
Creative cuisine in an old setting
Eliseoteon 24/05/2016 21:11When we crossed the classic entrance of the hotel/restaurant, passed by an armored warrior and sat behind the colored old glass window we were ready to order a typical German dish, in fact our table neighbours were having a big schnitzel. But then we saw the in the menu the special extra dishes offered those days and quickly decided for a starter platter with a variety of fish snacks. While we waited we drank a typical apple wine very special. The the chef himself brought us the dishes, apologising for the small delay because it was a new dish they were creating. A very delicious one, with scallop and other tasty fish snacks. Excellent.
I have not tasted the other, more classical dishes, but the sizes were big and people were obiously enjoying themselves. My vote here goes to the original drink and the excellent dish, plus the direct and friendly appearence of the chef at our table. I am curious to read what other visitors experience in the future to see if the level is maintained, but for me it was just excellent!
