Very nice converted villa, lovely small terrace overlooking pool area. Easy access into city centre via taxis pre ordered by reception, although bus journey would also have been easy. Didn't try the breakfast but the breakfast room looked very nice.

Our sat nav told us we had arrived but where is it? This is a very busy road so hard to think what to do. We turned into a side street by the stadium and walked to find hotel. Fortunately the side road from stadium gave us the option to turn left across the traffic and there you are 50 yards on. The hotel sign is a tiny brass plaque! After several stressful moments finding hotels recently frankly I'd love a big neon sign! However, once inside we were astounded. So elegant with beautiful antiques and furnishings. Our room was very comfortable (4 poster style bed without the canopy). The ensuite bathroom had an excellent shower and large good quality towels.
Breakfast was very good with freshly squeezed orange juice and eggs and bacon on offer. A tad overpriced. Tip for owners - pink frilly uniform quaint but time to update I think!
The hotel is set back from the road so did not hear traffic noise.
Very helpful owners. On the day we left we could leave our car and return mid afternoon to collect it.
The day we arrived we walked into Seville. We took our time and enjoyed the walk especially when you get to the gardens to walk through. However it is a good 45 minutes and after wandering around the city we had a taxi back. 6€ a bargain! The next day we took a bus in and a bus back. Very easy. Ask reception. If you go to the back of the stadium you need to be on the stadium side bus stop. Bus 3. The hospital buses (we caught at bus station) are 1 or 37.
To leave Seville our sat nav wanted us to turn left. Impossible! Turn right then right again and your sat nav should pick up by then to take you out of Seville.
If we return to Seville I would not hesitate to return to this hotel.

I have stayed in many grand hotels, some of them 5 Star Hotels, such as the Windsor Court in New Orleans, Louisiana, but never have I experienced the magnificense, beauty and hospitality that I found at the Hotel Villa de Las Palmeras in Seville, Spain. I am left wondering if I was dreaming that I was a Prince in a Castle, and whether the Villa would really be in that location if I were to return.
The castle like building is ornate and beautiful in the Old World style, yet all modern conveniences are available. Breakfast is on a glorious marble veranda overlooking the perfect swimming pool framed by the perfect garden. Should you need anything sent up to your room, Constanta will see that it is done quickly and with the utmost graciousness.
To me, the perfect vacation would be 2 weeks in Seville Spain at the Hotel Villa de Las Palmeras.

Choose this hotel to experience the elegance and charm of a 1929 private villa which has been converted to a hotel by the family owners. The public rooms are filled with art and antiques, and our bedroom, with private bath, was spacious and comfortable, with free internet. We stayed three nights, parked our car safely within gated grounds, and took easy public transportation or taxis to the city centre. The family and staff are gracious and exceptionally helpful, with excellent advice. Breakfast, with omelettes, is a delicious, good value option. Ignore much earlier reviews of this hotel, as it is now very well managed, with a focus on personal service. A delightful alternative to cookie cutter hotels!

We greatly enjoyed our recent stay at the Hotel Villa de la Palmera. The staff are warm and helpful. The rooms are beautiful. The ambience is delightful. We would certainly return and I do hope we will again soon.
