I came here with a travel group from germany. Good Service, newly renovated nice rooms, very cozy. Very good breakfast and dinner./bar The street outside the Hotel was not at all disturbing at night. A place to feel good and welcome!

I have just got back from a short break at Crooklands Hotel. I cannot praise the hotel enough. In every aspect it was 10 out of 10. The rooms were very clean, comfortable & larger than usual hotels The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The staff were wonderful. Extremely helpful & friendly. The breakfast was excellent & the evening meals couldn't be faulted. I have no hesitation in recommending Crooklands Hotel if you are looking for a stay in The Lake District. It is in a beautiful country location with walking opportunities from the hotel. This includes the Lancaster Canal which runs along the opposite side of the road.I think the 3* rating underrates the many qualities of this hotel.

We Visit The CrooklandsTwice each year and 2017 is our tenth year

As usual the Staff are just great we know them all very well and thank them for their first class service, the food is very good in a spotless clean Restaurant, the rooms as usual are very clean and comfortable , but just a snag that has been an on going snag that being in certain rooms and areas of the Hotel the Wi-Fi is very weak so to get the best operations one has to go to the Reception area and all is well. On final moan what a pity on the very nice food menu " No Mashed Spuds" but we are booked into this Hotel for Easter 2018 and will be in September 2018 we would never think of going elsewhere, being disabled we are always made very welcome andwe are happy each visit.

A great stop close to M6 !

Meals are a bit pricey for what you get-
Plenty of parking - but watch for the foreign coaches that turn up for breakfast- if you time it badly you can be waiting 20 mins for your cooked breakfast-
Breakfast hot food is excellent though!

Service is always good!

We had a great one night stay on our way south. The room was good, well serviced and comfortable. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant and a very well presented breakfast to set us on our way. All the staff we met were very welcoming and helpful. The venue is a good meeting place as it is close to Junction 36 on the M6.
