Decent Hotel but with rowdies staying in it

We had rowdies staying in the adjacent room, who were drunk and using abusive words at 2:30 am when I reported this at the reception, he said they have been shifted from another room as they had a fight with adjoining room mate due to this and the reception guy can't do much, the food was also tasteless, the hotel had only valet parking and the valet lefty headlight on for three hours, luckily I went to take the umbrella and switched it off.
Room was of decent size though and location was 30 seconds from mussoorie library ie very close to mall road. The rooms and washrooms were clean and some staff in particular were very courteous.

Amazing stay at a price point

My son is in boarding school at Mussoorie so we travel often to Mussoorie. We usually stay at Royal orchid fort resort but most of 4+ start hotels were sold out due to peak students season. Fortunately we found this amazing deal at MMT and we were pleasantly surprised with the location, food (veg though) and view. Rooms are big with amazing mountain views. Staff and Service is very coordial. Mandir and Gurudwara are at walking distance - so my Mom was very happy. We walked to Mall road every day for evening fun and non-veg dinner and it was fun !!

Overall a great deal !

yes hotel deserve 5 star. best location near mall road. good staff and cleanness. we stayed only 1 day in 3 days mussoorie trip.Rooms are quite spacious. early check in was free. book through makemytrip with discount. tasty food. everything was good

Nice Hotel

Vishnu Palace turned out to be really nice. The place is nestled in the mountains, with the rooms in level minus 1 through minus 4, instead of upstairs. We had occupied 4 rooms in level 3 & one of them had a beautiful view of the mountain. The staff are courteous & helpful. The breakfast was incredible. The chef did magic to simple vegetarian food. Freshly made Dosa in the morning was my favorite. I am a die hard non-veg but ended up eating both lunch & dinner, the food was so delicious. Curry, daal, cauliflower peas were delicious, with freshly made tawa roti. The rooms were quite big. The only problem was one monkeys came inside the hallway & I almost died of fear.

Holiday in Mussoorie

The location is good.Very close to Mall Road. The rooms are good ,spacious and well furnished. Bur they can improve.Toilet kit and dental kit are provided only when you ask for. It is not a complaint but only a suggestion. They will surely do the needful.
The shower gel and shampoo provided in the holders in the bath is very diluted. Hand towels need to be provided.
The view from the room was excellent . We had lovely view of the sunrise, sunset, and clouds hovering around.
Mr Ravi and Mr Manmohan are very helpful. When we were checking out on 22nd July, due to overnight rains the telephone lines were not working properly. as a result they could not get me a cab to go to Dehradun. Mr Ravi put us in his car and sent the driver along to the taxi stand and made sure we got a proper cab. A wonderful gesture.
Overall we had a lovely stay.They need to work on the wifi.
