A traditional hotel in a beautiful region

We stayed for four nights during the Eifel Rally. The hotel was full with a broad cross section of guests. The staff are very welcoming and Ralf the owner cannot do enough for you. The decor is traditional and functional. A plus is that the hotel has a lift to all floors. Our room, a twin, was large with a balcony and en suite bathroom. Again very traditional in decor, yet spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a cold buffet in the main restaurant with a good selection for all tastes. We ate in the hotel restaurant on two occasions. The menu offered a good choice on each evening. The food was well presented and piping hot when served. Pricing is reasonable throughout the hotel both in the bar and restaurant. This was a busy weekend, yet the hotel coped well with the extra numbers. The free WiFi was well received as was the adjoining hotel car park. The town of Daun is set in the Eifel Region and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. I can certainly recommend the hotel and Eifel region to you.

A very nice place with nice people,good conditions,good food and beer.the place have tv,wireless and a beautyfull panoramic.it's placed in the center of the town so it's very easy to visit anything in town

Excellent hotel in centre of beautiful Eifel region

An excellent hotel in the centre of the beautiful Eifel region. All the staff are very welcoming and the food was excellent. We stayed for 3 nights and ate in the restaurant on each evening. My rare filet steak was cooked to perfection and very tender. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Our room had a balcony overlooking the town and an en suite with a shower. We were travelling on motorcycles and Ralf gave us use of 2 lockable garages for the duration of our stay. We all enjoyed our break and we will stay here again

excellant little hotel with great restaurant

I'm posting this on behalf of my 85 yeard old father who stayed here over the New Year to celebrate his 85th birthday (31/12).
He used to stay here with my mum and they have always loved it. Dad now goes back alone to think about Mum and enjoy his memories of their stays. He has often told me about the wonderful food here and how well he is looked after by Ralf and the staff.
My partner & I stayed here with him once and were also very impressed with the service and food.
Dad highly recommends this hotel (so do we!!). He especially likes the bowling alley & beers!
I've posted this as a solo trip for him.

surprisingly good hotel

myself and a group of motorcyclist friends arrived wet and tired to be greeted by the ever smiling Ralf, after letting us use his garage for bikes and wet kit, he checked us in very quickly.

the rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped, with a balcony overlooking the town. the beds were comfortable...a must after 500 miles on a m/cycle.

Ralf again charmed us at the well stocked bar....try "eine gross alt bier."

we ate in the restaurant and could'nt fault the food or service, we also dined at the " Dubrovnic
steak haus", another great meal.

if you're travelling this region for the sights or the great roads leading to the Nurburgring take a look at this hotel.......you will like it.
