ChrisKevinon 02/07/2017 18:55The photos of this hotel do not do it justice. It is on a main road and overlooks a casino. When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist was accepting a booking from somebody that only wanted to rent the room for the afternoon.
We left the hotel to find alternative accommodation, but they still took the price for one nights stay.
Would've rated higher but.....

6 of us paid by card and 5 with cash.
The next day the manager complained that 5 of us hadn't paid. The cash people had no receipts so no proof.
The owner was insistent that we owed him money until we pointed out the cctv would have footage of us paying at the time the card transactions were done.
Strangely enough he instantly remembered taking our money and everything was ok.
Apart from that it was a very nice place and right on the beach.
Average but great location
GiroNorwayon 02/09/2016 21:09Plus for the very nice and serviceable front desk. Great location on the beach front of Bandol, close to shops, restaurants and sea front and marina. Public parking across the road. Small room and a french balcony of no use to us, minor details in the bathroom to be fixed. Have breakfast on one of the small bars in the main square, not in the hotel. Traffic noise if a front room during the night. An ok hotel for one night, if more nights, try something else.

beauvillieron 13/03/2016 15:16I booked this hotel for two friends from Canada.They were highly satisfied with all aspects of the hotel.The rooms are very confortable with excellent quality beds.The hotel is situated right in the center of Bandol,only minutes from numerous shops and restaurants.In fact,La Maison des Vins is right next door,where they have all the Bandol wines at the same price as the producters sell.My friends had a very enjoyable wine tasting session there.The staff are very friendly and helpfull and they serve an excellent breakfast with good coffee.There is parking opposite the hotel(30 yards),which is free in the low season months.I can highly recommend this hotel.
Pleasant B&B
DMC13on 17/11/2015 16:16Firstly, while this property may be classified a 'hotel' in France it is a B&B to British travellers (no bar, restaurant or other facilities and just a small breakfast area beside the reception).
Even on this basis, our feelings of the experience were mixed.
Positives:
Staff were brilliant - charming, courteous printed our boarding passes, even though my pigeon French didn't help the process!
Location convenient at far end of the promenade and our room had a partial sea view.
Room comfortable, if small, with nice balcony table and chairs for sitting out.
Negatives:
Furnishing and décor rather tired - as we left they were closing to refurbish reception and 2nd floor bedrooms but our 1st floor room was also in need of a facelift.
Noisy - busy road at front and late night revellers at the weekend. Also sound insulation between rooms/floors is poor.
Pricey - at 100 Euros a night off season (basic breakfast an additional 9 Euro) this wasn't good value.
Overall, we enjoyed our short stay in Bandol but can't see us returning any time soon.
