good hotel for a short stay
rosy002on 14/03/2017 08:18In the center of town, near all the action. Modern,clean but not cheap.We paid 160 swiss francs for one night for 2 people breakfast included. There was a coffee making machine, capsuls,teabags,cups in the room which was nice. Good view of the mountains from the window. You can open the windows if you like, often you can't.Parking at the Co-op below for frs 10 for one day with a direct lift to the hotel.
We had room 301 which was big.
practical hotel in centre of sion
157henk157on 06/03/2017 09:24a typical swiss hotel with some interesting quirks. the reception is on the second floor and the parking garage is part of the coop, which you need to know first. also from the reception ( on the second floor), there is another elevator going to the rooms, where there is another second floor. so if you are american you will be double confused, because as usual the first floor is one staircase up, but then you have two second floors, so be prepared to climb a bit if you plan to take the stairs. other than that the hotel is great with friendly personnel. we had no problem getting connecting rooms for ourselves and our kids. breakfast is swiss, which means a nice selection of mueslis, fresh fruit, fresh bread and great cheese. you can boil an egg yourself, which is really convenient. the rooms are spacious enough, but as everywhere in the mountains quite warm. the showers are fantastic hot and strong. overall a good place to be if you have business or friends in sion.

the staff is friendly and helpful;
the room was clean and had all you need for a few days' stay

It's a modern building and in walking distance to the old town.
It's my préfer Hotel when I stay in Sion.
Breakfast is good and include.
COOP Supermarkt is just around the corner
Convenient and central
Stefano Mon 06/11/2016 08:12On the top floors of a modern building, with great views of the Alps and Sion. One minute from the historic centre. The staff is friendly, parking is easy (there is also an underground car park). Sion is a lovely Swiss town, partly walled and well preserved - a good base for Valais.
