Great value, location and rooms
Jane Son 15/06/2017 19:26This is an excellent location to both see Toulouse and get to the airport or train station easily. Rooms are clean and much larger than the pictures indicate. Breakfast is available but our flight was too early for us to participate. Would definitely come back.
Nice family-run Hotel in a good loction
Sail1960on 24/05/2017 10:42Hotel is in a good location with friendly and welcoming helpful staff. We had a comfortable room with plenty of space - which is becoming more and more difficult to find in French city-centre Hotels. Decent breakfast. Overall, an enjoyable stay.
Great location with excellent, friendly service
Michael Ton 27/04/2017 18:38Chosen for its location close to the city centre, Hotel Heliot proved better than we expected - from the airport bus that stops just 100m from the door, to the free city bus service that passes close by, this was an excellent base for the three nights we stayed in the city. The owner speaks excellent English and was very helpful and accommodating. Good sized rooms; very clean and well maintained plus a characterful cat called after the hotel! Secure front door access (fingerprint reader) worked well. Can certainly recommend.
Excellent bargain in a great location
Michele Con 03/04/2017 20:40Easy walking distance from the train station and to all the city center restaurants and museums. The English-speaking owner is friendly and accommodating. Large room for a small European hotel. Be prepared to carry your luggage upstairs since there is no elevator. Impressive security system for guest entry: a fingerprint scanner unlocks the front door. On a quiet small street just 30 steps from a main street. Highly recommended.
Nice little hotel and best location
MigCorLimon 11/02/2017 10:16Very nice litlle hotel at the center of Toulouse at an affordable price. In 10 minutes walk you arrive to the train station and the bus that goes to the airport stops nearby as well and there are lots of restaurants around. I have to go to Toulouse from time to time and I will keep staying at this hotel.
Just a couple of IMPORTANT things you need to know:
- The check-in time goes up to 10 pm. If you plan to arrive later than that, let the owner know so he can leave you the key at the reception of the Best Western hotel that is just in the parallel street.
- The owner has a cat which is around in the hotel corridors. It is very silent and does not bother clients but if you are allergic to cats this hotel is not for you.
- After doing the check-in the owner takes your fingerprint in a machine in the entrance so you can freely enter the hotel at any time using your finger.
