Very clean rooms, but tired looking with furnishings and fittings that looked as if they were from the1980s. Badly needed decorating - big holes and ugly marks on walls in 3 places where radiators had been been removed but they hadn't bothered to redecorate. Strong smell of disenfectant.
Corridor was dusty with building materials stored in it. 3 large ash bins outside reception overflowing with hundreds of cigarette butts. Aghh!
Room wasn't cleaned or tidied while I was there. (I stayed 2 nights).
Overall the place just didn't seem well cared for. The sign on the back of my door said the apartment was for sale, which I guess says it all!
I paid 62 EUR a night as a solo traveller which wasn't good value in my view.
Nice place to stay
mrodrigo2012on 30/11/2015 19:05At least 2 times per year I like to stay @the treport, not so far from Paris (2:30) and there I'm always zen. Before we used to stay at the etape hotel in mers les bains, but we discovered the residence du nil, this hotel is located in the city center, that means there is no need to use the car. The bed room are not just a room, they are flat with small but well equipped kitchen, bathroom, toilet. The bed is located in the main room where there is also a sofa and a table to lunch. I really recommend this place.

Very clean, good value.
Facilities available : Bed sheets and towels, service like in a hotel but no daily room cleaning, only at the end of your stay.
Kitchenette with all cooking tools but could be a little bit more "modern".
Separate toilets and bathroom.
A handy spot
pamburon 12/07/2015 22:03We stayed 5 nights and found our room very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and we had most things we needed. The kitchen was adequate for basic cooking but could have benefitted from an oven. We had 2 comfy chairs and a table and chairs for meals. We had a TV but no English channels and considering there were a few English guests we felt they could have had an English news programme. The location was very handy for the town and the seafront and we could park outside every evening for nothing.we loved watching the progress of the seagull chicks on the roof who were practising their flying. There was free wifi and it was fast.
Good Value for Money

Good points: Good value for the money; Well located centrally to the beach, shops and restaurants in a nice quiet location; Good cooking facilities and the shower was excellent; Parking was free; Free Wi-fi.
Bad points: Towels were more like exfoliators than towels - suggest you bring your own; There was no drying up cloth; Did not like the plastic/rubber? matress cover .
