Super night at this refurbished hotel in Coetquidan
stevieceeon 24/08/2014 20:23We stayed at the Bellevue as we were visiting the St Cyr-Coetquidan Military Academy museum, and the hotel is opposite the entrance to the Academy. The staff are very professional, friendly and helpful, while the room was large enough, quiet and the bed comfortable. There is a sliding door to the ensuite bathroom, and the shower worked perfectly. The location was just right for us, and the current owners had clearly spent lots of time and money on the complete refurbishment of what was formerly a run-down establishment that had a poor reputation for comfort. The freshly prepared breakfast was delicious, and the owner was there to help and give advice about the sites to see locally; nothing was too much trouble. Parking is plentiful and free. My only gripes are that the wifi was slow, and that the hotel was quite expensive for the area, but other than this I cannot fault it. If you are in Guer or visiting St Cyr-Coetquidan, this is the best place by far to stay!
