Sheek hotel and restaurant
Richard Won 02/05/2017 18:34Overnight stop with a group of friends. All of the rooms were comfortable with modern decor. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast available and evening entertainment available within walking distance, but the best bet is to eat in the excellent restaurant. Internet, which was free, works in the bedrooms as well as communal areas. No lift and fairly steep stairs so may not be suitable if mobility is a problem.

Tim Fon 06/09/2016 18:09We booked this for the three of us, as a one night stop visiting a nearby war grave for a great uncle.
It is right next to the station (as the name might imply) so well placed in the centre of St. Omer. Friendly staff who spoke English!
Hotel was clean and tidy. Rooms small but functional and only downside for my elderly mum was there is no lift and the stairs are steep.
Food was excellent, despite plasticky menus with pictures. Faux filet was an excellent steak and burgers looked good. Nice wine list and good selection of beers bottled and on draught.
Breakfast is extra and a simple continental style.
A good find.
Annual stay in Saint Omer
Luke Son 17/08/2016 14:41The usual hotel we stay in was fully booked so we tried this one. The hotel was very nice and clean and at a excellent price. Takes around 15 mins to walk to the main square although there are some bars near by on the canal. Right next to the old train station although you can't hear it. Ate at the hotel on the Monday night and the food was excellent.
Chic O Rail - worth a stop - very good
Lawsoson 02/08/2016 20:19We had an evening meal here with a large group of friends. The set menu was served to suit our evening which included some short speeches, and we weren't hurried. Each course, given the number being served, was served hot, and in a timely manner and the staff were very pleasant and welcoming to our party.

Anthony George Hon 13/03/2016 20:47A good hotel for an overnight stay. It was clean and warm and staff were very pleasant.The room and en-suite were a little on the small side so that an overnight stop was fine any longer it would be a bit of a struggle especially the en-suite.
