Overnight stay
christinask1on 03/06/2017 16:57Overnight stay on way back from UK. Stopped off motorway looking for a hotel and found they had a room available. Compact room but clean. Continental breakfast had plenty of choices. Would stay again.
Adequate stay outside in very nice city
martinfF9149UEon 03/05/2017 19:47Small room and bathroom (well, you can't swing a cat), bed ok, insulation could be a tat better, ample parking facilities, nice and friendly staff, ok breakfast, good value for money overall. Not for the pedestrian as surrounded by roads, bit like living on a crossing, pretty ideal for just a stop over, not so exciting for exploring Bayonne as far away from the centre with hazardous walking (pedestrians outside the cathedral area are not really catered for).
Smart hotel on outskirts of Bayonne
Averil Bon 22/01/2017 13:53We had a quick visit to this hotel for a business meeting. The staff were very professional and the restaurant was large and well appointed. The bar area is very attractive with wonderful photos of old rugby players as the hotel is owned by Pascal Ondarts, himself a well renowned rugby man.
What a surprise a guest with a booking has arrived
anjosjeston 20/01/2017 10:54It started badly and did not get any better! We chose this hotel as it is close to the autoroute on our drive from UK to Spain. It that respect it fits the need well, really is just off of the autoroute,
We had prebooked but when we arrived at 3pm they said they did not have a room available. Strange since the hotel was almost empty with no cars in the car park. Very frustrating!
Room was very basic, but OK for our purposes of an overnight stop.
The only window was a skylight and this did not have a blind which, when the mornings get lighter earlier would be a problem.
For a newish hotel there were stairs to be negotiated between the elevators and the room which is not good if you have luggage!
We have used other near autoroutes before but this was low down the list!
Average hotel, ok standard but dirty room
Paal_Krion 16/10/2016 10:06Ok hotel located a bit outside of the city. Many parking spaces available if you come by car.
Rooms were ok, but not very clean. The guest who stayed in the room before me probably had a cold, because there was a dirty napkin laying in the room. Funny thing is that it stayed there during my whole stay even if the rooms were "cleaned" every day. I was also woken up by the maid after working late even though the "Do not disturb" sign was hanging on the door.
The staff was friendly and nice.
Ate dinner in the restaurant one evening and the food was very good!
Breakfast had a very limited amount of food to choose from.
Ok hotel, but it will not be my first choice for Bayonne.
