Lindy Bon 24/04/2017 19:26I can only say good things about this hotel. I had room 62, the view from the balcony was incredible. I did get the breakfast, hot coffee, juice and fresh croissant, lovely. People were really nice, wifi worked great. Definitely recommend this hotelm.
Affordable hotel in Nice. Location, location!
atmolleon 08/04/2017 17:44One have to understand that this is a rather old and somewhat worn hotel with no restaurant or breakfast room. The breakfast is standard "french" with a croissant, a peace of baguette, butter, marmalade, a small orange juice and a coffee or tea. It is served in the room. This works fine for us.
The best with this hotel is the location just 30 meters behind the Promenade and if you book with balcony you have a nice view of the sea.
We found the staff very friendly and they speaks english.
On the ground floor of the building lies Brasserie le Magnan that serves "value for money" meals or you walk 1 km (12-15 minutes) east on Rue de France to Chez Loulou on 15 Rue Saint Philippe.
We will definitely stay again if in Nice.

KatyRobinson1989on 04/04/2017 18:12Small hotel, great location, nice restaurant and boulangerienext door. Bus from airport and into centre of Nice was very useful. Friendly staff. 15 mins walk into centre of old Nice. Lovely view from balcony rooms.

karojinon 11/10/2016 09:34We had beautiful sea view. The room was clean, had interneti and that was enough what we needed. Just cross the street and you could be on the wonderful beach. Next to the hotel was a bakery with fresh croissant and lots of restaurants. Staff very helpful.
French Riviera on a budget
samiwardon 09/09/2016 17:09Upon finding hotel hard because lots of road works and confusing signs, we were greeted once we had called her down via the phone by the owner who was lovely, she spent time telling us how to get to the old town and what buses to use if needed, then showed us to the room (5th floor) and showed us how to use the blind and air con.
The room was small but clean and functional although a mirror in the room would be handy, the bathroom (or shower room) was basic but functional.
We didn't take up the breakfast option delivered to the room for an additional 8 euros per person as we wanted an early start.
THe BEST part of the hotel is the beautiful views of the sea from nearly every room, we didn't have a balcony but huge picture windows. (just as well we didn't have a balcony as it would've been too noisey to sit out with the road construction workers drilling away.
Great value for money.
