Perfect overnight stay
stevematheron 07/02/2017 18:42I stayed for one night in this excellent Auberge before heading up the slopes for a skiing holiday. I cant speak too highly of the quality of the service provided by the friendly and efficient staff. It is excellent value for money with a super 4-course dinner for less than 20 euros! The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable. Free wi-fi is available. It is located a few miles away from Bourg St Maurice but the bus from BSM stops outside the door and links directly to the Funicular Railway up to the Lea Arcs slopes.

Adrian100263on 12/07/2015 11:06A great place to stay before or after you tackle the St Bernard passes, quiet and friendly with a small bar and restaurant. Food is very good and booking for the UK was easy using the Logis de France web site.

Hotel is OK. Very nice host. Everything is possible.
Hotel is only 10 minutes from the train station....

Stephanie Son 17/02/2015 14:17My boyfriend tried to book a place close to bourg but I am glad we didn't. The reception is very friendly and very helpful and the room was comfortable:). Our window has a great view of the neighborhood and we always have hot water. Dinner was awesome! Great food at a very good price. This place definitely live up to the family environment moto.
Down side: as we stayed at the top floor, the internet connection wasn't very good. And the ceiling above the bathtub is very low and there isn't a shower curtain so we made a mess.

The hotel is located on the main road leading up to/down from Little St Bernardpass/Col du Petit Saint Bernard/Colle del Piccolo San Bernardo. It is easy to find if you are arriving by car.
CHECK-IN/FRONT DESK +++++
Italian, French and some English spoken. Very helpful and friendly staff. We arrived late and the hostess was waiting for us. Great customer service both on check-in and check-out.
ROOMS ++
The interior is outdated but nicely kept and clean. Our room was equipped with flat screen-TV. We stayed in a room sleeping a total of four (kingsize bed and a loft bed). Beds were average.

Nicely kept and clean. No lift available but not required either.
INTERNET +++
The hotel offers free Wi-Fi internet which worked perfectly well during our stay.
BREAKFAST ++
Breakfast room offered french bread, a few cold cuts, jams, yogurts, fruit juices and coffee. Average to similar hotels in France.
PARKING ++++
Free parking is available in connection to the hotel.
ATMOSPHERE +++++
If you looking to experience genuine local atmosphere, this is your choice. The hotel is a traditional hotel with a great view.

Paid total €82 inc. VAT for a room sleeping four people in a double (king size) and loft bed. Breakfast was NOT included (ca €10 pp). Local tourist tax added. Stayed Thursday to Friday booked through Hotels.com a few days prior to the stay.
SUMMARY/OVERALL VIEW ++
We were happy with our stay staying but would consider other options when returning to the area. However, we can recommend this hotel.
