Extremely good place
Loughtonian1on 19/08/2017 14:37Stayed 4 days in Room 2 (at front of hotel, with 2 en-suites). I shall start with the superlatives of which there are many. Terry, the owner could not do too much for you, A really warm welcome. Fine large room, well kitted out, lots of nice extras. Very convenient for the station and town centre. Personal service. Good large lounge bar. Historic house which has had a lot spent on it. Comfortable bed
Minor niggles: the old house has been fitted with plastic windows, which don't look right and don't open far; Terry provided us with some decaff coffee, but none in tubes. We don't like duvets, but sheets and blankets not on offer.
These were really minor points, and if you want to say in the area, there really could be no better choice.

Char Won 13/08/2017 23:04We stayed in The Huntingdon House Hotel not to be confused with the Huntingdon b&b recently opened down the road. The hotel is amazing and is very beautiful. The rooms are lovely and spacious and very clean and tidy. Breakfast is amazing and you pre book the night before and mark everything you want for breakfast and it is cooked to perfection for you. Lynne and Terry are amazing hosts and are willing to help with anything you need. Bar a very nice area and is well stocked. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely keep coming back.

allyson mon 12/08/2017 20:45We stayed on our way through heading south. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent so was the hospitality. There was an inhouse bar that was well provisioned and with a pleasant atmosphere. Would stay again.
Lovely hotel
pmk2017718on 06/08/2017 22:19Stayed for one night in twin room with a friend. Hotel lovely with nice little extras in room. Hosts both lovely and friendly and happy to give advice on places to visit and places to eat etc. would definitely stay again.

Valerie Son 26/07/2017 08:00Great Heritage place to stay like stepping back in time. Nice lounge and bar. The Hosts are great and the breakfast was full English and anything else you wanted. Room and bed was very comfortable. Close to rail station and easy walk to town centre.
