Lovely hotel outside of the main area of Columbus but close enough for easy driving. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and accomadating through our stay. The breakfast was very nice with frwsh fruit, a variety of breads to toast, freshly cooked sausage and eggs, a large variety of other foods, and drinks choices ranging from all sorts of milks, juices, Starbucks coffee, and even almond milk.

Great hotel with excellent location. The rooms were clean and comfortable and very spacious. I will definitely recommend this hotel for my friends and family. We will choose The Hyatt when we come back to Columbus.

I would rather be trapped in a nightmare then stay there ever again. The so call breakfast was old tasteless slop. The only thing that kept me so what functioning was the coffee. The rooms were not cleaned and mine smelled like raw sewage.

Bad Staff

Staff not attentive during check in. Several members of the front end staff were having a conversation loudly with each other and housekeeping. I was given a room key, visited the room to find housekeeping had not completed work. Upon notifying front desk of the error, there was no apology given. Housekeeping "lead" began to berate the front desk staff about lack of attention to detail and stated loudly that "it wasn't her issue." Housekeeper berated the others and attempted to have me join with her to berate the staff. The following morning, at breakfast. I asked kitchen staff member who was behind the counter for silverware.She informed me that it was being sanitized at that time and was unavailable. I told her that there was no plastic ware and was told to wait. Another member of the staff was seen walking with an empty silverware tray. I walked up with my now cold plate of food and asked him for silverware. He stated it would be several minutes. I put the cold food in the trash and placed the empty dish on the covered trash can. At that time, I took my beverages to leave the area and return to my guest room. He began to come up to me and started yelling at me for "throwing my plate." A front desk clerk came running over with silverware completely unaware of the situation claiming "I didn't know anyone needed silverware" and "he doesn't work in the kitchen" and attempted to calm the situation. I was shaking in anger and had difficulty stabilizing the drinks in my hand to the point where I stated that I would drop them. The employee said "do what you need to do." I turned around in anger and walked away, spilling some boiling coffee on my hands. No matter what's done, I will not be returning to this wretched place. It was our only option available for this stay.

We were staying at the motel in order to attend a family reunion. From the time we checked in until we checked , the experience was excellent. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and everything I wanted. The staff was courteous and helpful.
